You are kidding right? Donnie and Marie, again? Didn't we pay enough dues in the 70's, 80's and 90's? Can't these weird ones retire already?

First we have to deal with the negatives shed by the FLDS fiasco, now the Church decides to showcase Donnie & Marie?? What's next, Napoleon Dynamite giving a pep talk at General Conference...

Are you people for real? Marie has always worn clothes that cover her temple garments.

I love Marie! I hope I am drawn for tickets (Donnie is OK).

I wonder if Marie is planning her fainting spell for the Pioneer Day show.

Mormon Tabernacle Choir plays Vegas. I see low cut dresses and more. LDS Church, anything for a dollar.

Good News! The Osmonds and The Tab Choir! I look forward to having the opportunity to enjoy great music from great musicians!

How easy it is to point fingers and ridicule others for the GOOD lives that they lead! We all enjoy different kinds of entertainment and have the choice to participate or NOT!

It would be REALLY refreshing to be able to read more positive and uplifting comments to articles written about ANYTHING related to the LDS Church or it's members. It seems like there are many out there who are waiting by the computer for a chance to attack members of the LDS Church who are in the spotlight. I challenge you all to look for the positive in everyone and share good news instead of
negative asaults.
In this supposedly enlightened age where tolerance is valued above all else, how ironic it is that those who are the first to demand tolerance for their own cause are the first to deny it others.

Aren't you being a little extreme. I do believe that the shows are being billed as free. The Choir has always given beautiful performences with LDS and non LDS entertainers. Please try to be less negative. It is better for your blood pressure that way.

Thank you Cindy for saying what I thought. It would be refreshing if more people focused on the good. The Choir are a wonderful group and the Osmonds are a great family with exceptional talent. I am grateful for the wonderful influence I feel from listening to the MTC as well as the good that the Osmonds share. Why can't people lighten up?

Boy oh boy...Osmonds sure do like to make a buck huh? I am so sick of seeing them plastered all over the place. A free concert and there and they rake in the money in good old Las Vegas off of non mormons!!!!! Smarten up PEOPLE!!!!!

I am continually amazed by the losers that have nothing better to do than post negative comments on anything associated with the LDS church. Get a life people. Surely you have better things to do.

Alright. Thanks for announcing another special event that only a few tickets will be offered to the public for, but only the privileged few will be able to go to.

I hope it isn't this way when the Lord comes.

As an outsider, I see the comments from the LDS people here as the most negative toward the LDS church. Most believe that only Mormons are allowed to enjoy Donny & Marie's talent(s). It's doesn't reflect well on your membership.

I am a nobody who is the farthest thing from "only the privileged few" and I put in a request to get tickets to other events put on at Temple Square and I got them, and the times I didn't, I waited in stand-by and got in... Sometimes we have to work and put forth effort for things that thousands of others want, especially when there is limited seating. Just a thought though

I think that is wonderful that the Osmonds are going to be at Temple Squre , They are wonderful family and I would give any thing in the world to be able them see them in person. I am very PROUD to be a member of the LDS church, I have always watched them from the very first when they were little children, What a loveing family they are.

but I can't handle sitting on one of the balcony seats. My husband will be in a wheelchair at that time so hopefully if we get tix we will have a great seat if we are chosen. We just want two tickets. I'm letting my friends get their own. I'm not greedy.

Its such a shame i live in the UK so wont be able to attend this event, it will be such a special time for all who attend

What a truly memorable show that will be - just lovely! I am going to travel cross country to see it, if I'm fortunate to get tickets, as I'm sure they will be in very high demand.
