This is wrong. It is sad that Iraqis now have better elections than we have in Utah.

This is a sad state of politics in Utah County. I personally know Hannah and she is a great kid. But it is just that. She is a kid. It is sad to see her being manipulated by our super ego politicians.

I guess I'll vote democrat locally this year and republican nationally.

It seems like the Utah Republicans are following in the footsteps of President Bush: they're going to restore "honesty and integrity" in the state.

M Ridgeway, it is needful to remember that this was not an election. It was an internal party process to select delegates. Allowing a 17-year-old to participate in the process is no more unamerican or evil than the democratic party primaries in Puerto Rico, Guam, etc. The parties are private organizations, and do as they wish.
