Desnews, please find us some political commentators who are intelligent, witty and rational.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I keep hearing rumors that the LDS Church is trying to distance themselves from that label.
Now that the FLDS Church is so prominently in the news will the Church also distance themselves from the LDS label?
Where in the world have you been getting your info? Last I checked Obama was the biggest name for young, first-time voters (not necessarily black, nor elitist).
He also happens to be the favorite in our Utah household that consists of a slightly older retired farm girl, a working manager, and a young college student. None of us are black, and I don't think we're very "elitist."
