So sad...
#1 - This man wants to get his family back - wouldn't you say anything to get them back?
#2 - I have been following this story VERY closely as well, and there are several others who say basically the same thing as Jessup. I did see an interview with her right after she left and she said basically the same things then - which was way before she wrote the book. At that time her daughter had not gone back.
#3 - I think the mother's (most of whom were raised this same way)are so indoctrinated they do not know any different. I believe that as "mothers" they are loving and care very deeply for their children. But the question is - are they healthy values that they are raising them by.
It is not healthy to have inbreeding in families, It is not healthy to make your children mary old men when they are but children - or anytime for that matter. It is not healthy to be treated as property and given to other people on the whim of your leaders. There are BIG problems on this ranch that need to be changed.

This comes from someone supposedly "exed" and yet he still supports Warren Jeffs? As alluded to by another thread yesterday, even Jeffs indicated he "was not a prophet," before he attempted to hang himself last year in jail.
This demonstrates the extreme level of pressure and "brain washing" exuded on these folks and to me it is another reason that supports taking the children out of harm's way before they too become Jeffs' next victim.
