New homes linger on market

It's amazing how fast the Utah housing market has taken a turn for the worse. Many said this would never happen here. Many said "Utah is different". All this is going to do is put more pressure on prices. How far are we going to fall? 30% 40% It's hard to tell.

We should be glad the correction is happening now rather than later. The bigger they are the harder they fall.

Buyers beware, Utah housing has a long way to fall. Eldridge is wrong, 325,000 is not affordable in Utah. Beware of Realtors and article like this trying to get you to buy now. Buyer incentives will only get larger while housing prices drop.

Buyers do your own research or you could be upside down 20% like the people in Arizona and Nevada that listened to the Realtors and bought a home last year.
