I had the same exact song for David Archuleta! I hope he does not try to do Memories, as that is the one ALW song I could miss hearing. I love David but he needs to control the sap and bring on some pop.

David A could sing anything and he would do an amazing job, I think memories from cats would suit him well, go castro home that is david A is the next american idol!

I like your suggestion for Brooke White, but I think she'd do even better with "Unexpected Song." Truth be told, she'd sing a great "I Don't Know How to Love Him," but her LDS fan base wouldn't like it.

Personally Carly should run as far away from Memory as possible, she'd be better off with your first choice. David A. could sing anything and I and all the world would love it, but I'd REALLY love to hear David Cook sing "Music of the Night" from Phantom and take it where no one has taken it before. Jason, no clue because he is just going to be Jason with his own beautiful voice but boring arrangements. Syesha needs to pick a song to call her own and OWN IT, no matter what it is. I love her, love her, but she's still trying to copy the greats and not standing out as one of them. Brooke needs a big arrangement this week not just a piano vocal, but her range is limited so she needs to do a David Cook trick and come up with something really original and different if she hopes to stay on. I love her to pieces though and will definitely buy a Brooke White CD. I can't wait to here "Brooke White" songs that she has written, because they are sure to be awesome in her style which I love.

I think Carly would do a good job with "With One Look" from Sunset Blvd., especially if she gets her "angry" persona going. Whatever Dave Archuleta sings, "Music of the Night" should not be the choice. That song is not for a boy to sing. In any case, Michael Crawford OWNS that song and it would be hard to match up with him.

David A. needs to be careful of the Donny Osmond comparison so maybe he shouldn't sing anything from "Joseph". Jason would do a great "Any Dream Will Do". Seems like any songs having to do with "Goodbye" or "Going Home" are the kiss of death, so they should all be careful with a song about "closing doors"....

"The girl who I was really quite impressed with was Brooke" said Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber.
