I actually agreed with her as I've thought the same thing for a very long time - leaving fuel and food out of the inflation calculation makes no sense as we all have to eat and drive. Inflation has truly been out of control for quite awhile - it would really be nice to see the dollar regain some value but it ain't gonna happen as long as the Fed is so loose with the money supply (and as long as our government keeps spending like there is no tomorrow
