Israel's birthday celebrated by Utah County students

Wow, it is great to see that UVSC has such a group that can stand with Israel. In its 60th year of existence it is worthy to note their continued strength and preseverance through these last 60 years. Way to go UV!

I would say something complimentary about this activity, but I don't want to be accused again of being offensive, arrogant, disrespectful, insensitive and self-deluded.

Go ahead and comment though I would suggest removing offensive words just for the sake of having offensive words. Both sides is good. And I add the caveat that I am 100% pro-Israel.

The Arabs may remember a different 1948 though much of the troubles they are in now stem from their own action. As the Brits were leaving they laid out boundaries, etc that the Arab League flat out said they would not abide by. The organized armies from 5 Arab nations to take over the entire area and dominate all Jews. Basically, the Arabs were the first to break any agreement and go for the whole enchilada, so to speak.

The Jews of Israel did not let it happen. They won the war and established themselves as a free people. The Arabs wanted to take the whole thing, set up a Palestinian Nation, live the Sharia (when the Muslim law governs everything, no Democracy, no separation of church and state) and charges all non-Muslims a Jizra, or a tax. According to the Koran if you are willing to pay a religion tax your life can be spared.

The Arabs gambled and lost. They shouldn't have.

To Celebrate demolishing houses and killing so many Palestinians? Is it beautiful? hope to understand if some people to celebrate Holocaust. Nothing more
