For 90% of you reading this post who somehow think that Deron Williams is better for the Jazz just look at what Boozer had to say. He said Paul is at another level. If you asked Williams he would say Paule is at another level. Williams days of outplaying Paul are over.

Sure Dwill is great for our team, and a great player but he's not even close to the talent skill and leadership ability of Paul.

The Jazz should have picked Williams over Paul is like saying that the Bulls should have picked John Stockton over Micheal Jordan in the 1984 Draft.

Sure Stockton was great maybe the best point of all time but MJ IS the best player of all time and has 6 rings on his fingers.

Willams is one of the best Point gaurds in this league.

Paul is off the charts, superior talent, phenomenal leadership skills and is one year away from being the unquestioned best player in the game.

Read and weep Jazz fans, read and weep. Then crawl out of your hidding places and recite the same garbage about Williams being better for the Jazz.

Ya right just like stockton was better for the Jazz than Jordan would have been.

is better than Chris Paul. O'Connor should be enshrined in the Hall of Fame for pulling off that trade. He was just what the Jazz and CJ Miles needed.

lets see how DWILL plays against an MVP SUPERSTAR. He's only played against Pual at this level once and he was torched (their last meeting is the first with Paul since Pauls game went into orbit)

Last time I checked Chris Paul hasn't won a playoff game. Not a single one. The main reason MJ is considered so great is what he did in the POST-season. Maybe he'll do well this year, but I think he could just as easily get torched by Dwill in a series... and hopefully Paul gets the MVP right before that happens.. that would be really funny.

Paul does well with the team around him, just as DWill succeeds with the team place around him. I sat in the stands and watched a killer Deron cross-over that sat Paul on his fanny when New Orleans was last in SLC. Paul crashed in that game and Deron was the cause. It comes down to wins in the play-offs so let's see where this goes. Both are amazing and elevate their own team's play.

All this talk about Paul and DWill is idiotic. This is a team sport, not tennis...

The comparison between Stockton and Jordan? Idiotic... The logic is faulty. What happens if DWill wins 6 championships and Paul wins none? Is DWill then the better player? Too many assumptions at this stage of two great careers.

The Jazz took Wiliams because of his size and his ability to post up. DWill was the player they wanted for the system they play in. The Jazz went to the WC Finals a year ago and chances are, they will be back at least a few more times with DWill at the point. How that is a failure is beyond me...

Consider this... Let's say the Jazz face the Hornets in a second round series. The Jazz have the talent to beat NO, so assume the Jazz win the series. At that point, who cares who had the better numbers in the regular season? I am sure Karl Malone would trade his MVP trophies in for a ring anyday...

Had the Jazz not taken DWill, the Hornets would have. Both guards played three years... It's too early to make these claims.

To "Even Boozer Knows", "Saying that" and "@Sloan" - It's too bad the DMN doesn't impose an age limit on those that comment. You five-year-olds would have to wait a few years before spewing your non-sensical diatribe. For intelligent Jazz fans, their isn't one that wouldn't admit that Chris Paul is having an outstanding year and deserves consideration for MVP. But if you try to equate that success with any other team besides New Orleans you would be fooling yourself. DWill is perfect for the Jazz team, perfect for Jerry Sloan and perfect for the fans of Utah. And please don't fool yourself into thinking the Jazz won't be successful in their year's playoffs - AGAIN! Both players are great for what they do, for how they enhance their respective team's talents and for the overall team situation they are in. Chris Paul is great - this year - and will continue to be great. But Deron Williams will continue to be great as well.

Oh, and by the way....MJ on the Jazz? Yea, that would have worked.

Very few in the history of the NBA clearly establish themselves as being the best over all others. For the few that succeed it takes time and performance. Three years is hardly enough. The competition is on, but it isn't over yet.

Some of you are limited, biased, and subjective when you can say who is best already. Give them some time. Don't get so lathered up about it. Even ten years from now, it may not be decided.

Paul is better are pimple-faced 12 or 13 year olds who know nothing about basketball. Paul is great no doubt and I would even go so far as to say he is having a better statisical year that Williams, but until he actually can take his team somewhere in the playoffs, this argument is way premature.

Golden state vs Hornets, GS in 7 or even 5, eventhough I hate GS, but I think that's what will happen because if the Hornets lost one game on home court, they don't have the experience to recover back.

This kids parent probably brought him back a Chris Paul jersey from their vacation to Mardi Gras. Anyone with basketball smarts knows Deron Williams is a great fit for the Jazz. Look what he is doing in only his second full year of starter minutes.

Second, picking Stockton over MJ is the lamest excuse I've ever read when comparing Williams & Paul. Do you really think that the Jazz would have picked Stockton had they had the #4 pick in the draft? Stockton ended up being a steal, but he wasn't high on anyone's draft board.

Simply put, Williams and Paul will be the best for years to come.

It's hard to admit, and I love DWILL but face it we missed out the better player. It happens all the time, luckily Williams wasn't a bust. But Paul will be the best player in the league.
