MLK assassination stained Memphis, limited city's prosperity

I lived in Memphis for about 4 years back in the mid-90s. Trust me - it has
large-scale problems that have nothing to do with the King assassination. It
wouldn't be much better off if MLK had been assassinated somewhere else.
