Boycott is not only a lousy idea, it's stupid too. The last modern boycott by the US resulted in another Boycott by the Russians 4 years later. Istead of celibrations of youth, and common humanity, the people of the world were treated to tainted games and competition.

As the author implied, let the Games begin!!

There is always someone with something to protest, they just turn me off to their cause.

How surprising--Lee Benson just reiterates his good buddy Doug Robinson on this topic. Perhaps Benson is more concerned about missing out on his free media sponsored trip to China than he is about anything else.

The boycott is not for us, it is for freedom loving people everywhere to take a stand. PUt the toe down in the sand and draw the line.

Have you seen the films of the Chinese beating the snot out of the Tibetans? Many of us have.

If that film doesn't sicken you, nothing will

GO TIBET!!!

I can't believe that Mormons, who claim to salute freedom and the dignity of man, will not boycott China because their government enslaves the Tibetans and murders them.

Russ: I have seen a film. Long time ago. Wow!! Did the soliders ever stick it to the Tibetans.
Boycott. Send a message. Freedom loving people everywhere need to say, "No more."

Remember too, we did it over tea in a place called Boston. We were sick and tired of being oppressed.

Remember?????????????????

Since the organisers claim that the Olympics is a non-politcal event, then we should take their word and just send the athletes, minus the politicians, to the opening ceremony. At most, only the minister or secretary of sports can attend.

No. Utah sees a major earthquake every 350 years. Last one? 350 years ago.
