Why were they so anxious to keep this report secret? Why were they so anxious
to protect one government official? Probably because the coverup drug in more
people, as usual. I suppose now the DN will be able to peruse and publish the
information.

How is it that someone can be "allowed to retire" as the DNews keeps
asserting in your reporting of this case? Or put another way, how can the
county forbid someone from retiring, resigning or leaving an appointed post?
