What you all need to know is that we are NOT in agreement with meeting. In fact I strongly apposed it. I feel that there is already enough hate in the world, we should all learn to be respectful of each other and stop judging...Also, Mrs Merrill our principle of A.F wasn't even aware of the meeting. When she became aware it was immediatly canceled which I commend her for. A.F is a great school that I am proud to have my daughter attend.

Has he never heard of gay activist organizations like National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, Lambda Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Queer Nation, and ACT UP? These organizations have a very specific strategy to change public opinion. They are very well organized, have very specific strategies, and spend over $100 a year in their efforts. Not to mention the Committee on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Concerns that has strong-armed the APA (through threats and lawsuits) to issue statements discouraging therapists from helping people who want to do something about their same-sex attractions. I got help and it CHANGED MY LIFE!

I'm tired of the rhetoric that you can't do anything about being gay. I got some help and it CHANGED MY LIFE!

I have a few questions for those so concerned about the same sex attraction of gays and lesbians and them having children.
#1 - When was the last or the first time that you heard of a gay or lesbian parent locking their child in a closet and forcing them to eat their own poop or force feeding their child water as a form of decipline?
#2 - When was the last or first time that you heard of a gay or lesbian family sexually abusing their children time and time again and affecting the rest of their entire life, and calling it their "little secret" and not to tell anyone.
#3 - What is more damaging to society? A loving family that may consist of same sex parents or a gay single parent, that loves and supports the child. Or a so called normal family, female and male (legally married), that abuse their child mentally and physically and make them feel as though they are not a normal person, sinful and shameful in the eyes of society and God.
For me, society is focusing on the wrong agenda and problems. Homosexuality is not the enemy!
