To everyone else who disagrees with giving rights to domestic partners, I want to ask you a question: What makes "marriage" any different from a "domestic partnership" other than a piece of paper? The committment, love and responsibilities are the same. The ability to break any vows taken is the same. So why is it any different?
Everyone is entitled to equal rights. I thought that decision was made when women and African American people were granted equal rights with everyone else. If we can support religious freedom, why can we not endorse sexual freedom? Because it's against someone's religion?
Please. Use some logic. And, remember, no-one is asking you to participate, just to tolerate.
