Wow, horse race journalism before the public even knows anything about the candidates. Nice work. Can we look foward to the substantive coverage of issues, accomplishments and biographies? Or are we just going to get stories about polls and money and gotcha moments?

I know the bar is set pretty low for Utah politicians, but our governor is doing a great job. He has to make a few concessions to the "alternate universe" right wingers, like when he waffled around on vouchers, but over all he is doing a great job. Especially by joining with other western governors to support efforts to reduce green house gases.

What a shame we have to re-elect this clown. He and the legislature has violated the trust of the people with the immigration policy.

It is amazing that we have our military fighting in Iraq to keep us safe while Mexico is invading us with people that are committing crimes everyday.

To the vast crowd of lemmings in favor of Governor Ken, a few questions. In the past 4 years--
Is Utah air cleaner? No, it's worse.
Have Utah's educational results improved? No, worse.
Are big corporations getting more Utah welfare? Yes--e.g., Goldman Sachs, Procter & Gamble, etc.
Are bigots and crooks still roaming the Legislature without a word from the Gov? Yes.
Have rates of crime, drunken driving, etc. fallen? No, on the contrary.
Are you better off...or worse off? I know the answer to that one too.
By all means, vote for Ken if you want things to keep getting worse.

Now if we can actually get rid of Chris Cannon, that would be good. David Leavitt would be a good choice.

Gov. Huntsman threatened to veto illegal immigration control bills. That's enough for me.

I will NOT be supporting those that are willing to sell us out.

The loony left and the crazy right are opposed to Gov. Huntsman. Good work Mr. Governor. You have my vote.
WAITING | 2:06 p.m. March 22, 2008
I will wait a minute before I decide, and I am not extreem on either side. The Gov had me until this school thing which he already knew we did not want, then his idiocy on immigration surle has me concerned, but I will see if any of this improves life in utah, If it doesn't I will vote for anyone else I am part of the growing movement in utah to hold our elected officials resopnsible for their own actions. Totally responsible for graft, and lining their own pockets at the expense of the people they are supposed to represent. And we mean legally responsible, open to prosecution if they break any even one law. And believe me we the people are watching every move they make very closely.

We used to be called sheeple in utah we are going to show them and it won't be pretty for those who used our voters to make money and did harm to us.

"Is Utah air cleaner? No, it's worse."

Incorrect.

"Have Utah's educational results improved? No, worse."

Incorrect.

"Are big corporations getting more Utah welfare? Yes--e.g., Goldman Sachs, Procter & Gamble, etc."

Incorrect.

"Are bigots and crooks still roaming the Legislature without a word from the Gov? Yes."

Correct.

"Have rates of crime, drunken driving, etc. fallen? No, on the contrary."

Incorrect.

"Are you better off...or worse off? I know the answer to that one too."

A subjective question that is pointless.
Nobody asked me. | 9:44 p.m. March 22, 2008
I wish I would have seen this poll so that I could have voted against Jr.
Jr. was a bad decision who changed most of his stances on everything as soon he got elected.
He pandered to the right to get elected then changed his tune.
Im voting for super dell.

THE UTAH COUNTY LEGISLATORS should be sent home with their heavy bags full of lobbyiests money! The rule should be NO INCUMBENTS ALLOWED on the Primary or NOVEMBER BALLOT!

The overwhelming arrogance of the likes of Senator Dayton, Bramble, and Stephenson are repulsive. The dirty evil tricks they play are exactly that.

The integrity of most of the INCUMBENT Representatives is low. Some sold their souls to wins their elections two years ago. Why send them again??????

A change needs to be made. Vote for the Republican Challenger or even the Democrats over any incumbent REPUBLICAN.

Why re-elect Bramble? What is ONE GOOD REASON? Even the people up on the hill don't like him and his bullying ways. Lockhart? Her husband is the State Republican Party Chair. How is this right? She acts like she is the worlds most powerful person next to the most unattractive HILLARY type of woman, Dayton. Her ethics are just the same. Vince Foster anyone? Ask any insider!
