Utah's economy is suffering from too many houses for sale at high prices, Thredgold said.

Thank you. He's hinted around for months that he ~kinda~ gets it but for the first time in my life, someone other than myself has noticed that high home prices HURT the economy. The people who absorb that cost are other consumers. It hurts as many Americans as it blesses.

In a sense, Utah is insured against a strong recession. The pop. growth means the economy has to move, it has to "tick."

So more sex, and here's to the economy!

More People = Lower Pay | 9:48 p.m. March 21, 2008
russ,
Higher wages would make a difference. More people making poor wages won't help Utah's economy. More people willing to work without a stronger productive base only allows employers to pay less.
