Their son shattered their lives, their American dream. His poor mother is sure to die an untimely death because of the stress and heartache she has had to endure. Moving back to Bosnia was this family's way of trying to start new again. I really do feel for them. And what makes me even sadder for them is that they will never be able to escape this...the media. They will be found, hounded, and questioned for the rest of their lives. Surely every year on the anniversary of the Trolley Square massacre, there the media will be on the Tolovics doorstep with a barrage of questions as the world awaits an update.
I wish they could indeed be left alone, and find peace.
an accidental shooting in my neighborhood and the media lied about it and made the person look like a criminal and had it all stated that this kid was doomed and would be treated as an adult before they even had any information. The media treats every case wrong for money. Greed is all the media lives on. This family should be remembered for who they really are and not what happened with someone in their family.
that you search yourselves--the tongue is an unruly member--hold your tongues about things of no moment--a little tale will set the world on fire. At this time, the truth on the guilty should not be told openly, strange as this may seem, yet this is the policy. We must use precaution in bringing sinners to justice, lest in exposing these heinous sins we draw the indignation of a Gentile world upon us (and, to their imagination, justly too).
