Region 3? | 8:50 a.m. March 18, 2008
Is there nosuch thing as Region 3 in 5A? Ya sure Region 3 isn't known for
yielding perennial powerhouse soccer teams. But there are definitely some teams
in Region 3 that will do some damage this year.

Brighton soccer fan, sorry pal but Brighton was lucky to get away with a tie
when they played Bountiful,on your field. If that game had been played in
Bountiful the results would have been the same as last year. 3-1 for the Braves.
Today Jordan was lucky to run out of the stadium with relief on their faces as
they were dominated by the Braves the score was 3-3. Our 1st team all-state GK
Brian Simmons was ill today, so we played with our JV GK, both of Huesteds goals
were goalie error, mistakes Brian wouldn't have made, result would have
been Braves 3-1 over the Lucky beetdiggers, the Bountiful Braves are the best
soccer team in the state, any classification. Michael, Judd, Jim, Budge, Weston,
Tyson, Jamie, Colton, JJ, and Joe adds up to a very dangerous team. Go Braves...

WOW NOSTRADOMIS | 9:43 p.m. March 18, 2008
you are really going to say that bountiful dominated the whole game. You are
obviously a bountiful player or fan swinging from your team. Before you post a
comment make sure to be at least open minded and not just swing from your team
because you are affiliated with them.

better than 1 win 2 losses | 10:40 p.m. March 18, 2008
Bountiful's "JV Keeper" prevented what seemed like a sure loss to
Brighton on the Bengals home field with a outstanding save on Mike Nielsen!
Your beloved Braves couldn't score on Brighton with 1 man down from that
point on and the entire second half...think before you communicate, your
ignorance is apparent and unbelieveable!!!

Go Jordan! | 11:04 p.m. March 18, 2008
Give Jake Hustedt credit! He beat the Bountiful defense twice today and applied
offensive pressure throughout the match. Bountiful is a good team that will
only get better as will Jordan. Good luck Braves the rest of the way!

Come on Nostradomis | 10:22 a.m. March 19, 2008
We all know that if Brian Simmons was in the goal that Hustedt would have scored
on him too. He is just an oustanding player, and on both of the goals he scored
the ball never should have got to him anyways. When they did there was nothing
the "JV Keeper" could do about it. He placed both perfectly and timed
them to perfection as well. So don't automatically blame it on the
"JV Keeper" cause there wasn't much help from the backline either
on the two Hustedt goals.

Hustedt is a good player, nothing more. I'd take last years Salt Lake
Tribune 5A MVP from Jordan HS, Marco Angelo any day and he deserved that MVP
status in both papers.....

Hey East, Olympus goes for the 3-peat in region this year. Not only that, we
have the talent to take state if we peak at the right time.

I agree with "haha nostradomis" bountiful seems to get lucky every
time they play. If i can read right i believe it says that bountiful has only
won one game. You have to win games in order to take state again, last year they
could . . . this year not so much
