Maybe the UEA will endorse him.

What a FREAK!!!

He would be perfect for Utah . . lol

Don't worry, tomorrow he'll decide to run for president of the U.S.

He's got a snowball's chance ... but hey! Krusty the Clown ran for Congress.

Krusty ran as a Republican, and won, if I remember right...
He's got my vote... | 7:40 p.m. March 17, 2008
It's a no-brainer decision when you look at who he's running against- Governor Jon "Greenie" Huntsman.
Hooray... | 7:38 p.m. March 17, 2008
...for Super Dell. We need an entertaining break from the national race. It's getting quite boring. If people don't vote for you, you can always buzz their homes in your hang glider and threaten to shoot off their ballot fingers. Hey, why not president? Maybe next week?
Mahershalalhashbaz | 7:40 p.m. March 17, 2008
I'd vote any day for him over Huntsman the Younger. Any day. Let's see, mr I'm trying to help turn Utah into China in every way shape and form that I can, or Super Dell. Not perfect. But smart. Anyone but Huntsman this year. ANYONE. You'd have to be a stupid idiot to vote for Huntsman. He pushes abortion (made it legal for a married woman to have an abortion (of course the idiot mormons don't care as long as he's mormon), gay rights, global warming hysterics/nonsense. He changed the tax code in opposition to his own church leaders advice, he has relaxed the liquor laws in Utah.I could go on.
good joke | 7:45 p.m. March 17, 2008
Hey, anyone might be better than the teflon boy that Daddys money got him his office. Utah does have some great ones representing them to say the least - we have been laughing/crying for how long now? Hey, Utahns love GWBush so why not Dell both are crazies
Anonymous | 8:19 p.m. March 17, 2008
Did anyone ever see his infomercials he bought on late night TV (KUTV)? Now that was something else...welcome to the Twilight Zone!
Run and do good job | 8:18 p.m. March 17, 2008
I bought one of his computer, it really was quality. If he wins, I hope he does as good of a job as his computer.
Just a Guy | 8:22 p.m. March 17, 2008
Good Move Dell. Now I can vote for you in the upcoming elections. If huntsman runs again...you may have a run for your money....if not...you could actually win it. Do you need some people on your campaign staff??? I'm happy to help!!!
Ron Paul | 8:27 p.m. March 17, 2008
Give him two more days and he's gonna throw his hat in the presidential race and give Obama a whoopin'. A boy after my own heart!
Mahershalalhashbaz | 8:51 p.m. March 17, 2008
To clarify what I said above. Huntsman signed a bill into law that changed married abortions. It used to be that a woman who was married was only able to get an abortion after notifying her husband 24 hours before and get his permission. Huntsman made it so you could get one without letting your spouse know. See Helaman 7:4-5. And I did liken all scriptures unto us....

Someone better show up soon that's capable of governing this state. Huntsman is a stone liberal who along with the rotten legislature is determined to turn this state into the Little Republic of Mexico.
altekrieger | 9:56 p.m. March 17, 2008
Dell, you have my vote.

I usually vote for the lesser of two evils, and you sir, are the lesser of the evil we have now.
JWW | 9:59 p.m. March 17, 2008
I'd vote for him. However, I predict his chances of winning to be low as most voters are very superficial and just looking for the best hairdo.
Shelama | 10:15 p.m. March 17, 2008
More than running for gov'nor, poor Dell is in need of a brain scan. Not unlike poor 'ol Dizzy Dean who went to the hospital after being beaned by a line-drive. Next day's headline was that the x-ray of his head was reported to show nothing.

hmmm | 10:23 p.m. March 17, 2008
For all of those who keep saying "I'll vote for him!":

I worked for him for 3 years. He had hundreds of employee's over his 9 years in business.

If you rounded up all of those employee's over all those years, and asked them what they thought of Dell Schanze, the majority of them would tell you that Dell Schanze is one of the most unethical, dishonest, malicious, vindictive and arrogant employers they have ever come in contact with.

Sure, there are a few employee's that said was he was a great 'mentor'. I am not one of them, and I would estimate that 95% of past employees, are not them.

After 3 years making between 9 and 14$ an hour, I left them. That was two years ago, and I now make nearly 2 1/2 times that amount. I am happier, my schedule is better. I no longer fear having to lose my job when Dell came in on a whim to fire someone he had never seen before.

I cannot possibly elaborate on the innumerable times he was unethical or dishonest, but if you must know, find 15 ex employees, and ask them. See if you're satisifed.

-ex-employee

Where'd all the good people go? In this corner we have John "Go with the liberal flow to get along" Huntsman. And in this corner we have (insert your favorite token loyal opposition Democrat. And in THIS corner we have Totally Awesome and completly unstable Dell. What's a voter to do? Democrats haven't had a new idea in 50 years. And really, other than the gay thing, is there a big difference between Huntsman and the obligatory Dem? So we are left with Dell? I can't remember a time when there has been so much mediocrity to choose from. Do we really want another Jesse Ventura? Those cooks in Minnesota are still red-faced over that one.
Sarah | 11:20 p.m. March 17, 2008
In a word.... *****GIGGLE*****

only in Utah! ;-)
Democrat Huntsman | 11:36 p.m. March 17, 2008
I think it is funny to look at the GOP. If you thought Huntsman was a democrat in disguise how do explain Utah's adopted son Romney or the GOP nominee McCain? The GOP pulled another fast one!
Umm... | 11:44 p.m. March 17, 2008
At this point I'm pretty much speechless...I uh...Yeah I'm speechless.
rich | 12:27 a.m. March 18, 2008
What a putz! His 15 minutes of fame ended long ago. He needs to disappear. His wild accusations and ranting against reporters (the slow sales at his company were probably due to terrible customer service) just show how absolutely unqualified he is to be governor. Fortunately, I think we Utahs are smart enough to see through this absolute lunacy and send him packing.
Super Dull | 1:02 a.m. March 18, 2008
I say, "Go for it!" If you have the money for the filing fee and are smart enough to sign your name on the application....Oops!....one out of two ain't gonna cut it on a statewide race. Maybe at the local level but not statewide.
mark | 1:21 a.m. March 18, 2008
A woman in this state used to have to get permission from her husband to have a medical procedure? Man, this state freaks me out sometimes.
Like when there are so many people that would vote for Dell.
Low Bottomy | 1:40 a.m. March 18, 2008
Mark, the reason so many people in this state would vote for Dell is they've had done a certain medical procedure; literally or figuratively.
This year's campaign slogun | 1:58 a.m. March 18, 2008
ANYONE BUT HUNTSMAN!!!
Why Mark? | 3:40 a.m. March 18, 2008
Is the real reason this state freaks you out is because you are a shallow bigot? I'd say yes.
Super-gov? | 5:32 a.m. March 18, 2008
Well, the ole' saying, "If you can't say something nice . . ." almost prevented me here; until I started thinking the "Super Gov", and "totally awesome" political promise ads on TV are going to keep Utah entertained for the next 8 months. Hey, I'm typing this on my totally awesome computer! You know, Del pulled off being the "pied piper" of computer sales in Utah. Politicians just sell their bill of goods - he's proved he can do that.
JOHNJ | 5:58 a.m. March 18, 2008
I see a lot of neg thoughts. How many of you can build a computer, let alone start a business? He'd make a good Gov. I think all that don't like him are all gun control turkey's.
Super Dell? really? | 6:32 a.m. March 18, 2008
I love to read all the comments that everyone writes. Thank you. When I lived in Utah and was up late one night, I saw an info-mercial with Super Dell. If I had not seen it, I might think he would do alright (he is afterall passionate, which is good), but since I watched, I realized than that this guy is a complete idiot. (not like that is unseen in politics) Utah voters do your best!
curtis | 7:08 a.m. March 18, 2008
If Hillary can be president surely Super Dell can be governer of Utah. He has my vote.
Minnesota Man | 7:13 a.m. March 18, 2008
I lived in Minnesota when Ventura was voted in. (I did not vote for him.) And yes most people woke up the next morning and said, "What did we just do?" But when his time was up most Minnesotans would tell you it was a good thing. He did some good things. He wasn't the greatest, but he put a real scare into the Democrats and Republicans in that state and they started to listen to the people. They knew that people would now vote for someone other then the standard and they would not just be voted in by the good ol boy political network. Watch out when the 18-20 year old crowd goes to the polls in droves to vote for something different and Dell is the definition of different.
Larry | 7:15 a.m. March 18, 2008
As you can see Super Del is already here on these comments, I can see many posts in these comments that were in fact placed here by "Super Del " that is the way this Idiot works. What an Idiot! What kind of idiot would buy the website the that put him down the website superdellsucksdotcom used to have all the bad experiences from Buying and working just associating with "Super" Del. But now Del buy's the website to promote himself a True Idiot!
Scooter | 8:24 a.m. March 18, 2008
Hey, at least we know he's a little/lot off the wall. So when he does something out of the ordinary we can't be suprised. Unlike Gov. Huntsman who started out conservative, then bought into the global warming lie, then big government tax spender, moving towards the liberal views ... not sure what we voted in (Republocrat or Demican)

AIMHO
Kate | 8:39 a.m. March 18, 2008
Totally Awesome Computers guy as governor? AHHHHH!!! Scary! I cringe at the thought! It would be like a five year old at the helm of a nuclear armed weapon and it is pointed at Utah. The bomb goes off and all Dell can say is "Ooo, look at all the pretty colors!" Please. I am not a fan of Gov. Huntsman but I am not about to sell my future hook, line and sinker.
fr1nk | 8:48 a.m. March 18, 2008
To those of you who said "at least he could start a small business", you forgot the part where he ran a successful small business into the ground.
Paul Gibbs | 9:28 a.m. March 18, 2008
This is thekind of thing that forces even the most hardened observer to laugh until his gums bleed.
SuperDell&Brittany | 9:35 a.m. March 18, 2008
Super Dell is one of the few people in the world who can give Brittany Spears a run for her money when it comes to needing attention and having a knack for drawing it.
Nate | 11:25 a.m. March 18, 2008
I'd Vote for him... It would be a fine show. More energy from government. Sure wouldn't be boring.
loosen up! | 11:34 a.m. March 18, 2008
Ex employee, Ya most employers don't convey of the stomach flu each and every day?? good to know that you found a job making twice as much and at your own schedule hmm wonder what that could be?

Comedy sells thats why he's like the way he is,
would you buy a computer from a by polar, depressed, mumbling slouch? He received Utah's attention then and most likely he will do it again.

scary but true!

I think minnesota man hit the nail on the head with the younger voting generation voting for someone a little crazy and on the wild side, something new, for at least they know where he's been, who know's where huntsman been? wherever it was and is most likely it will be swept under the money rug over and over! Must be hard being rich.

Dell, give em a run for thier money.

fr1nk let the media get a hold of you and expose every mishap or mistake you have made to millions of people. see how much positive recognition you receive!! Unless.. Your Perfect!
in that case never mind

Dell is doing and not just Blabbing on forums...

Don't Be Surprized | 11:55 a.m. March 18, 2008
Jon H. is a puppet for the teachers union. The Republican party in Utah has been run by closet Dems for over 10 years. As a Libertarian candidate Dell may just pull off the upset of this new century. Dell is crazy like a fox. His nutty commercials cloak a first class marketing mind. His conservative credentials are solid and his commitment to individual freedom has been as unshakable as his public pronouncements have been attention getting. Don't be surprized to see him shake up the establishment.
big joke | 12:00 p.m. March 18, 2008
Why don't you talk to some of his former employees, he ran his company out of business. And put alot of good people in bad situations. You follow his history and it is all about himself. This kind of stuff and media ploy is all a joke to him and at our expense. He is a very unstable person, this will make a joke out of the entire state. I would like to see a legit person other than Huntsman who would relate to the rest of us.
Super ??? | 12:10 p.m. March 18, 2008
Dell Schanze is "Super" at what we have yet to figure out? So far we know he is no good at Computers, or Management and PR is definitely not his strong suit.
Maybe he is "Super" at losing that must be it!
Thanks for the Laughs "S - Dell"
JazzOwner | 12:08 p.m. March 18, 2008
Most of all, we need a governor who can raise the bar on economic development as well as integrity. We need a governor who's ready to hit the ground running, but who won't be stifled by allegiances to the status quo. In our view, one candidate best fits what we need: the owner of the Jazz!
Scary | 12:56 p.m. March 18, 2008
That this guy is running for Governor, even more scary is the fact that people are actually supporting him. He certainly has some narcissistic social disorders from what I have seen of the nut. Thanks Utah for making the state look even more strange.
WEIRDO | 1:00 p.m. March 18, 2008
Nut-case weirdO!
CougarKeith | 1:15 p.m. March 18, 2008
Re Superdell, "Please vote for me. All your wildest dreams will come true!!!!!" That's Totally Awesome! If Pedro can do it Dale can do it too right!
Sorry, Wrong Time against the wrong opponent!!! Gov Huntsman has my vote before it even gets going, this is one of the few BOOMING states in the Country!
Republican | 1:16 p.m. March 18, 2008
George W Schanze, huh???
