FINALLY!!! Someone with a brain realizes AND writes the truth about the fact that this whole Jeff Archuleta thing!! I know if comes with the territory but it upsets me when someone is dragged through the tabloid mud needlessly! Strictly for headlines. THANK YOU.

I had SERIOUS doubts about this story when it came out. There is such a hunger in the media for a way to stomp on and degrade people in the news. It's disgusting. I could easily see them exaggerating something way out of proportion or even making a story up out of whole cloth.

I think that David's character says a lot about the job his parents have done raising him. He would not be the sweet, happy, well-adjusted young man that he is if he were mistreated at home.

Maybe David was hovering on the verge of collapse because of the strep throat and pressure. His dad knew how deeply disappointed he would be to blow his chance on Idol and told him to buck up. If hollering at your child on a RARE occasion makes you a bad parent, a lot of us are in trouble.

As an aside, I was THRILLED to see how well David bounced back this week! I am a BIG FAN of this wonderful, talented kid!

For the record, I think he goes all the way. Wins Idol, becomes a big STAR! I can't wait to buy his CDs, see him in concert!
