Utah Jazz: Jazz put hammer to Celtics

Violet Palmer is the worst official in the league. It seems like every time I noticed a bad call, she was making it.
NBA players need to find shoes that have substance over style. Ray's shoes were nice to look at, but not to play in. His fancy gold shoes should have been left at the end of the rainbow.
Boozer needs to heed his own advice and drive, drive, drive. He just keeps falling away, away away.
Go Jazz!!!!
The Jazz are starting there run and the younger players are understanding their roles better. How could anybody want to change a thing about this team??? Like it or not Sloan ball is effective in playoff situations
Go Jazz hope they dont stumble against the Nets
SAD THING IS THAT BOOZER ALREADY PEAKED LAST YEAR AND THATS ABOUT AS GOOD AS HE WILL EVER GET.
PAUL HAS A SWEETER JUMPER AND IS STILL A YOUNGSTER!
TRADE BOOZE
P.S. How did you like the game Sinan? I hope you didn't fall to sleep in the 2nd half since it was about 3 am Turkey time.Go Memo!!!GO SINAN!!!!
Did our sign make your local TV?
It read .....
Pats Fan YES
Sox Fan YES
Celtic Fan NO
Jazz Fan YES
Curious in Boston ... Great win for us!!!!!!
Hopefully, that bruising experience won't deter him in the future.
D-Will is running ALL of Sloans plays and his offense. Between D-Wills athletic abilities, court vision, and the intrinsic opportunities this offense provides--this team is rolling.
D-Will stuffed every run the Celtics made by driving, getting fouled, going to the line, and making the shots. He seemed to catch on real quick last night that instead of having to call a timeout during a Celtic run, all he had to do was drive to the hole and get to the line to stop the momentum. It worked repeatedly. Stockton and Malone did it all the time. That was veteran savvy play from a young talented player.
Almost every night lately he seems to be discovering something else he can do to make his team win.
This guy is on the road to greatness!!
Okur drove to the basket a couple of times as well--at Celtic--run-busting times. Millsap is a workhorse that made a big difference as well last night.
Go Jazz!!!
On the other hand, let's get Korver and Millsap more game time. Those guys are studs!
i didnt see your poster.
Over the last 5 games Paul averages 28 and 16
Williams averages 23 and 12 with 3 more turnovers per game and two less steals. Plus Chris Pauls team is tied for the best record in the west.
DWill is a great player, I just think it's crazy that as good as he is Paul is even that much better.
Williams had 32 and 8 with a bow out win over the Celtics
Paul had 27 & 17 with a blow out win over the Lakers
These two guys are good.
GO PICKLE, GO MEMO , GO JAZZZZZ
you. I can't believe you made 17-18 free throws.
P.S.-Who do you think is teaching Milsap too play the way he is?
I believe this is the same for Hornets fans and Paul and Jazz fans and D-Will.
The only other players in the league currently who are as exciting to watch as Paul and Williams are Kobe and Lebron.
WIlliams' all-star snub to Brandon Roy is looking more and more ridiculous with every game!
Rather than try and decide if the Jazz made the right choice or not, people are missing out amazing performances from two amazing players...on a nightly basis!
The Hornets are playing good ball, but so are the Jazz right now. Also remember, being tied for first in the west, that position has been held by SIX teams over this season. It is hardly a grand accomplishment to be the next in line and get lucky because you don't play and another team loses one. The Jazz are 2 games out of first, and could be there at the end.
Also, go back further than 5 games, back to the allstar game, and Williams is ahead of Paul in most stat categories.
Right now, Paul is the stat leader over Williams, but DWill owns the head to head between them and, in the end, I believe DWill will deliver what Stock never could: the championship. Will CP3? Only time will tell.
Go Jazz!!!
(Peter May-Globe )Williams was the first marquee point guard of the bunch to match up against Rondo - and based on what we saw it would be hard to make a case that anyone can do it a whole lot better than the Utah playmaker/scorer. Seventeen of Williams's points came from the free throw line as he used his size and strength to pretty much get what he wanted.
"We didn't do a good team job on Deron Williams," said Sam Cassell, who spectated for the full 48. "We let him dictate what he wanted to do. When he wanted to shoot, he shot. When he wanted to pass, he passed. We gave him way too many options."
Second I love DWill, he has been playing his best ball since the San Antonio Series. But that doesn't mean that I am blinded by my love for the Jazz.
My only point was that as Good as Williams is (and he is unquestionably the second best point gaurd in this league), it's ironic that he will not be the best point gaurd of his era (like Stockton was. or was he not the greatest and didn't really play that long because he wasn't bigger and stronger than the young guys comming out??? really stupid comment Dwill Supporter)
But I don't really care if he is the best of his era or not. He doesn't have to be. As long as we can win a title that's all that's important. Like Getty Lee I may choose D-Will for the Jazz, but Pual is the better player. Don't give me that argument that Dwill is better head to head. Thats just nonsense.
2 Chauncey Billups, DET ..........24.31
3 Steve Nash, PHO ................21.64
4 Jose Calderon, TOR .............21.21
5 Deron Williams, UTH ............21.03
Pauls PER Rating of 28.67 is the highest in the NBA
Higher than Kobe, Higher than Lebron.
