I would rather BYU won a game that I didn't get to see than watch a game that BYU loses.
I love your broad generalization about "all BYU fans" when two BYU fans above you have made the same statement you did. I'll make it 3. We realize that is the timeslot awarded to their seed. I don't agree with this article at all, and neither should anyone. It has nothing to do with BYU being left out of the best time slot and everything to do with rest.
Really, I'm an avid BYU fan andm in this casem I wasn't at all concerned with the time slot. Sure it would have been nice to have the game in prime time so I could have watched it, but I would much rather see my team given the resting advantage they deserved by winning the regular season championship.
It was also nice to see the MWC making some attempt to neutralize UNLV's home court advantage by removing all of the UNLV banners and signage, and reconfiguring the seating.
When another arena becomes available in Las Vegas, the tournament should, and will, be moved to it, to make the site of the tournament fair to all teams.
And to all those saying that UNLV enjoying a home court advantage isn't a problem, I would like to see their team play both games against BYU in the Marriott Center next year.
As an avid BYU fan I agree, EVERY person on the planet is out to get BYU. ALL BYU fans agree with me because we are all EXACTLY ALIKE. "Get a life" is right. I'd add: get a clue.
P.S. BYU is the first team I know of in the history of basketball to be unranked, lose to an unranked team, and then be ranked the next week. It's definitely because the world is out to get us.
