Sounds like an intelligent and experienced fellow. I wonder how his voting record is? Where I live in the states I am sure no one has heard of him. Hmmmm. Sounds like an intelligent guy.

Is he party, or is he independent. A Huck or a McCain? Has he ever bucked the national gop?

And why shouldn't he re-up for another term? He fits like hand in glove with Utah's other do-nothing congressional representatives, Hatch, Bennett and, the sheep in sheep's clothing, Mr. Republican Matheson.

I'm voting Straight Ticket this year, anti-imcumbent, none of the above.

I want real change from real Utahns.

Bishop's education and experience look good to me. And he chose the right name for Utah. Worth 25% every election.

Bishop is probably much more flexible and smarter than Bennett. I heard Bennett speak long long long time ago, and he just mouthed the gop line for his dad. No independent thinking there. Hasn't been any since he got in. But then again that is why he got the green light to run.

Hatch is a sad comedy, a predictable show each and every time in front of the cameras. No impact nationally at all. None. In fact, that goes for whole lot.

How comes Utah does not have elected officials that match the grandeur of her mountains?

I don't understand. How do you choose and elect your officials?

I attended a two-week workshop for teachers in another state a few years ago. Bishop was one of the teachers that attended. I at least I think he was. I'm not sure he made it to class as often as most of the others...at least that was the reputation he earned. Personally, I wouldn't vote for the guy, for that very reason.

And Russ...Bishop buck the GOP? Not a chance.

No. Utah sees a major earthquake every 350 years. Last one? 350 years ago.
