Personally, I hate -- yes I pick that word intentionally -- having to wake up in the dark even in the middle of summer. Wouldn't you rather wake up with the sun than to an alarm clock blaring away? Let's ditch "Daylight Stupid Time."
One small editorial gripe...I live in the "rural" Indiana county of Marion, population density 2,100+/sq. mile, vs Sale Lake County's 1,100+/sq. mile. Indianapolis is hardly rural, and was one of the counties enjoying not having to switch their clocks. The counties that always observed DST were generally Louisville, KY or Chicago, IL suburbs.
Daylight-Saving Time may not save energy, but I doubt it causes Global Warming (but every little bit hurts I guess).
