You might need that extra liquor Gov. now that the illegal alien task force that was part of your agenda failed. You and the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce had the legislature remove the requirement for private business to do background checks when hiring people, in return you promoted a task force to study the issue and you failed to live up to the agreement. A relaxed and smiling Governor in his easy chair is not a good picture right now for me.

We are extremely fortunate to have such a capable governor. You're never going to please everyone (nor should you), but I think that we have a tremendous leader at the helm.

It's sad that the governor and legislature didn't take the illegal alien problem more seriously. After the school voucher mess, and their inability to deal with illegals it is going to be hard to vote for any of them.

So Roche and the Deseret News are happy that Huntsman is relaxed and smiling in an easy chair. Next non-story: The Mormon church also got its way with the legislature, as it does every year.

Huh? His smile must be due to a gas bubble. Nothing has been accomplished of importance in this legislative session. ... What "way" did the LDS church get. Another LDS hater. Wow there are lots of them in this little start. Get a life.

...a bunch of WHIMPS!
Whimps come a dime a dozen. Looks to me like that is just what we have leading UTAH around by the nose nowadays. Some of the people in government/church need to get out and live real lives, and get out into the real world, and WAKE-UP!

The "real world"? Are you kidding me? What's so good about the so-called "real world?" Not enough crime in Utah for your liking? Or maybe you want more drunk driving? Or maybe more unemployment? Or how about shrinking housing prices? Yes, I wish we were just like everyone else, I wish we were sheep who behaved just like the rest of the country.

No. Utah sees a major earthquake every 350 years. Last one? 350 years ago.
