Please remove the entire Bloggernacle column from the Deseret News. Far too
often have I gone there in search of something that I thought would be
interesting only to find either blatant Anti-Mormon diatribe or someone scoffing
at my beliefs. I am confused as to why the DesNews promotes this kind of
commontary. There are too many twisted views posted that are contrary to the
doctrines of the Gospel.

Keep the bloggernacle please. I have read it over the past few weeks. I
enjoyed other view points and not having to search all of the blogs. The
majority of the links are not anti-mormon, and I can laugh at myself and my
religion. Blogs by definition are opinions. I consider myself a good member of
the church and I think we should all realize there are good and bad things on
tv, Internet, and blogs.

Cherish freedom of speech. And use your God given cognitive ability to think for
yourself. Differing points of view will expand your appreciation of culture and
other people and enrich your own experience.

Freedom of speech? All of those freedoms end when they infringe on others
freedoms. The freedom to swing your fist ends when my face begins. My cognitive
abilities to think for myself is what I use to realize that I am offended by
certain things and I do not believe that insulting sacred things is something
that should be on the Deseret News and on a list of things that is recommended
reading. The DN has a higher standard simply because it is owned by the Church.
Differing points of view is one thing and there is nothing wrong with points of
view but how can we justify promoting something that has so much bad just
because it is mixed in with some acceptable.
