I believe Duchesne beat Tabiona twice during the regular season. At the 1A playoffs Tabiona finally beat Duchesne. I noticed you had interesting facts about some 1A teams but im sure the Tabiona fans feel left out you didnt mention their game at the state playoffs.

Piute lost to Wayne twice during the season and then won their semi-final matchup.

Yes, but what you are forgetting is Piute split with them in regular season and lost to them by two by a lucky shot at region. So actually, they were 1-2 to them, and the victory at state just evened it out!

The season's over and Tabiona is still whining! Get over it, it's just a newspaper article.

Thank God Piute lost to Escalante. There's a lot of unfounded pride in that program in Junction.

PIUTE EARNED PRIDE | 12:27 p.m. March 5, 2008
TO anonymous above,

What exactly do you mean by unfounded pride? I have followed the Piute team all season and they definitely have SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF. They have been solid all season and are among the hardest working teams in high school basketball.

Here are a few of their accomplishments:
-Second in league play only behind Escalante.
-Lost to Wayne by a last second shot in region.
-Defeated #1 ranked White Horse in first round of
state tournament.
-Defeated a tough Tabiona team in the quarterfinals.
-Defeated Region 15 champion in the semifinals.
-Had three Academic All-Staters.
-Second place finish at state above 30+ teams.

Yes, they should be proud. And you are disgusting for trying to belittle the accomplishments of these fine young men and their coaches.

PIUTE EARNED PRIDE | 2:45 p.m. March 5, 2008
To anonymous,

I will agree Escalante is a fine team. Unlike you I give credit where credit is due. I also believe in calling a loser a loser and by you attacking good kids you have proven you are a true LOSER.

AND YES THEY DID DEFEAT THE REGION 15 TOURNAMENT CHAMPION WHICH DETERMINES THE SEATING FOR STATE.

I didn't post that Anonymous comment at 1:32. I know who beat who when, where, and for what.
