Now maybe our ridiculously high home prices fed by greed and demand will return
to a sane level

High home prices won't be helped. That has been fueled by mostly
Californian speculators. A business slowdown may not help with that.

What about the children? | 3:13 p.m. March 4, 2008
We need some special programs to help the children that will be affected by
this. People came here just to better their lives and we need to do something.
For those who pay taxes, please consider paying more, so the rest of us, who
don't contribute, won't have to suffer. The LDS church says you need
to show me compassion.

I am 28 years old and I make about $72,000 last year in 2007 and I don't
pay anything on taxes. But hey I work two jobs (11 hours total each day) so I
deserve it right? My rent is partly subsidy from the Utah government but next
year I want to buy a house so bye bye subsidy money. I bought a car last month.
My daughter goes to elementary for free and she also has a state health plan. So
do I too. This is a great place for living. My girlfriend also gets some
unemployment money from some place that pays for most of our food.
