Perfect days on the slope melting away

16th century -- Vineyards north of London, too cold now
13th century -- Vikings in Greenland, hard to graze on glaciers
20th century -- Fall of Soviet Union along with the closing of 100s of weather stations in Siberia (kind of cold over there)
20th century -- Fear over a global cool down in the 1970s

Global Warming = reduction in GDP growth = reduction in the ability to create wealth = wealthy stay wealthy and poor stay poor = rigid class structure and aristocracy

Hmmmm...

John Coleman founder of The Weather Channel calls global warming "the greatest scam in history". There are thousands of noted scientists that after objectively looking at a broad spectrum of data share the same belief as Coleman.

Mr. Steenburgh statement "I don't know of any scientist any more who denies the planet's temperature is going up, and the vast majority believe man is contributing to that" sounds like shallow ramblings of political rhetoric.

Maybe the professor needs to get out more!

Steenburgh is not "a proponent of global warming." He is a proponent of the view that global warming is real and likely caused by human activities.
