To me the fight against child porn is about like the fight against drunk driving--both problems are about as contained as they're going to get, and most additional laws and penalties are irrational, unconstitutional, or grandstanding by politicians. Or some combination of the three.
You're sadly mistaken if you think people are "plenty riled up" about this subject. Simply put, out of site and out of mind. People just don't THINK about this because it's not regularly brought to their attention.
Obviously the ad is made to get people's attention and hopefully generate funds and more aggressive laws to engage said crimes. No, the fight against child pornography is quite different from the fight against drunk diving for a myriad of reasons -- and frankly, your comments don't even warrant the list. If you find laws against child pornography and drunk driving so irrational, unconstitutional and simply grandstanding... well, again, it gives one pause as to what you do for 'entertainment.'
