Sure it is,specially sitting on the pines for two years.
It's got to be that LHM and KOC take a long look at the intellect of whom they draft, aside from talent and character in a player.
With talent, intellect, irregardless of age, experience comes with playing time. Even if its 5 minutes here,5 minutes there.Experience will build.
However, SlowN has proved it otherwise with his style of ultraconservative purgation .
But as SlowN says, "Thats my job", "cant have to many concerns about that sort of thing" !
Young as this club may be ,they are pretty well grounded, through the maturity of several players.
Dog houses are counter productive in any place of business, even on the court of play !
but it is overrrated. Many times I have seen and heard someone talk about their years of experience, only to have someone else come in with no experience and with pure heart and determination to get the job done right blow them out of the water. That being said, Coach Sloan can some times cripple players by not giving them the opportunity to make make mistakes on their way to acheivement. Fezz and Almond are two of them. Fezz we need to be playing now especially with all the big centers in the west. And Almond we need to see if his 30? plus point average in the Dleague can Translate to 20 plus in the NBA. Experience, OVERRATED(most times) , Heart and Determiation PRICELESS.
GO JAZZ!!
Carmelo Anthony scored 29 points, Iverson added 28 and the Denver Nuggets spoiled the return of Kevin Garnett, holding on for a 124-118 victory over the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night.
Not very good, said Rivers, whose team was 16-0 against the Western Conference before the loss. But you have to expect that when he sits out that long. He was rusty.
Garnett would agree with the assessment. He felt a little winded, but chalked it up to the Mile High City.
It feels like Ive been out for a couple of years, he said. There wasnt a lot of air out there.
"Irregardless" is not a word. If it was it would mean the exact opposite of what you seem to be trying to say. Think for a moment about double negatives, count to ten, and then say a happy little cheer for Jerry and the boys. They (all of them) have earned it!
Well i guess they'll have that as an excuse when they don't win a championship again this year.
Even though there are actually many "real" reasons that "true" jazzfans will not admit.
Looks like sloan hater is the one who is unexperienced.
You agree with my views on this subject. We should go to dinner or to the movies sometime. OK?
I feel where you are coming from, but there are what, 9 teams that are playoff contenders right now, and given a few key losses all of them could be out of the race! the only difference between 1st and 9th in the West is like 5 games! so losing 3 where others are winning would drop LA to Last, same for SA, NO, Phoenix, Jazz, Rockets, ANY and ALL teams in the west could be out any night due to a few losses so your point is invalid! an over .500 team in the west will not make it to the playoffs this year! but, I will agree on one thing. It's all about winning... and no team has seperated itself from the pack this year. Personally, I hope that it's the Jazz, but it's all yet to be seen, we will see in April and May!!!! until then, we can all shutup because until the last basket drops and the buzzer sounds, we won't know who is the best? look at the Giants and the Patriots!
