"Experience is hard to come by" Said SlowN !

Sure it is,specially sitting on the pines for two years.
It's got to be that LHM and KOC take a long look at the intellect of whom they draft, aside from talent and character in a player.

With talent, intellect, irregardless of age, experience comes with playing time. Even if its 5 minutes here,5 minutes there.Experience will build.

However, SlowN has proved it otherwise with his style of ultraconservative purgation .

But as SlowN says, "Thats my job", "cant have to many concerns about that sort of thing" !

Young as this club may be ,they are pretty well grounded, through the maturity of several players.

Dog houses are counter productive in any place of business, even on the court of play !

experience is overrated!! | 9:51 a.m. Feb. 22, 2008
In life as in sports I believe experience is a plus
but it is overrrated. Many times I have seen and heard someone talk about their years of experience, only to have someone else come in with no experience and with pure heart and determination to get the job done right blow them out of the water. That being said, Coach Sloan can some times cripple players by not giving them the opportunity to make make mistakes on their way to acheivement. Fezz and Almond are two of them. Fezz we need to be playing now especially with all the big centers in the west. And Almond we need to see if his 30? plus point average in the Dleague can Translate to 20 plus in the NBA. Experience, OVERRATED(most times) , Heart and Determiation PRICELESS.

Ol'Pro, it seems you're still infatuated with hating a man who coaches a team of youths better than you ever could, in a western conference chocked full of veterans & all stars. Get a grip on reality ok? It's still just a GAME. It's entertainment. I don't recall your career in basketball's success story. Give Jerry a break, he's EARNED it trying to please unappreciative fans like you for the past 20+ years!

I love that story about Andre Miller. I was huge fan of him when he played for U and I'm still fan for keeping it so down to earth. Keith, Doleac, Miller, they all seem to be good character guys. I'm proud of them.

Can you quit yer yappin' for five minutes and realize that we're one of the hottest teams in the league at this time? Stop hatin' on Sloan and his style of coaching. It's not going to change and LHM is not going to hire another coach until Sloan tells him, "I'm not coming back." Give it a rest, already. Andrei's fine, Jerry's fine, every body is fine, and the Jazz will be just fine with Sloan at the helm.

GO JAZZ!!

WRONG AGAIN! | 11:58 a.m. Feb. 22, 2008
DENVER (AP)Allen Iverson felt no satisfaction from knocking off the top team in the league, just added pressure.

Carmelo Anthony scored 29 points, Iverson added 28 and the Denver Nuggets spoiled the return of Kevin Garnett, holding on for a 124-118 victory over the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night.

Not very good, said Rivers, whose team was 16-0 against the Western Conference before the loss. But you have to expect that when he sits out that long. He was rusty.

Garnett would agree with the assessment. He felt a little winded, but chalked it up to the Mile High City.

It feels like Ive been out for a couple of years, he said. There wasnt a lot of air out there.

"Ol Pro";
"Irregardless" is not a word. If it was it would mean the exact opposite of what you seem to be trying to say. Think for a moment about double negatives, count to ten, and then say a happy little cheer for Jerry and the boys. They (all of them) have earned it!

THE TRUTH | 4:52 p.m. Feb. 22, 2008
I WONDER WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO ALL THESE JAZZ FANS WITH THEIR ROSE COLOR GLASSES ON IF THE JAZZ WERE TO GO ON ANOTHER SLIDE? LOOK THE JAZZ ARE ONLY 3 OR 4 GAMES OUT OF NOT MAKING THE PLAYOFFS.....STOP ACTING LIKE THE JAZZ HAVE WON A CHAMPIONSHIP BECAUSE WE HAVE WON ALOT OF GAMES LATELY. SO HAS HOUSTON, AND THEY JUST BARELY MADE IT BACK IN THE TOP 8 IN THE WEST. THIS RACE COULD GET UGLY FOR SOME TEAM IN A HURRY. JERRY....LIKE HIM OR HATE HIM WHO CARES.....IT'S ABOUT WINNING...BUT STOP IT WITH THE WE'VE WON 19 OUT OF WHATEVER GAMES AND MAKE THAT FOR SOME VINDICATION OF SLOAN BEING A GREAT COACH?? ALL OF THAT DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING IF THE JAZZ LOSE TONIGHT!! WE SERIOUSLY COULD BE ANYTHING FROM A TOP SEED TO OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS BY APRIL!!

One of the youngest teams huh?

Well i guess they'll have that as an excuse when they don't win a championship again this year.

Even though there are actually many "real" reasons that "true" jazzfans will not admit.

RE: THE TRUTH

I feel where you are coming from, but there are what, 9 teams that are playoff contenders right now, and given a few key losses all of them could be out of the race! the only difference between 1st and 9th in the West is like 5 games! so losing 3 where others are winning would drop LA to Last, same for SA, NO, Phoenix, Jazz, Rockets, ANY and ALL teams in the west could be out any night due to a few losses so your point is invalid! an over .500 team in the west will not make it to the playoffs this year! but, I will agree on one thing. It's all about winning... and no team has seperated itself from the pack this year. Personally, I hope that it's the Jazz, but it's all yet to be seen, we will see in April and May!!!! until then, we can all shutup because until the last basket drops and the buzzer sounds, we won't know who is the best? look at the Giants and the Patriots!
