I am trying to figure out how to get a copy of the sheet music. What am I doing wrong? I see no sheet music to be found. Great idea and thanks, especially if I can find it.

If anyone can find this music, would you please email me at Abspipe@yahoo.com. I would gladly play it for you on the organ after I have had a chance to practice. Thanks again.

I'd love a copy of the music. In recently losing my father, I would love to hear these comforting words of President Hinckley. Where do I find it on this web-site? Please respond to my e-mail.

I first received this story via email. So nice to know it is true. Was at the funeral and heard the song for the first time. How do I get a copy of the words/music?

May I get a copy of the words to "WHAT IS THIS THING CALLED DEATH" I was spell bound by the words at the funeral. I recently lost my Mother. I ALSO lost my husband just 3 years ago.

On the right side of the article, there are two links with the name of the song. One will open it in English, the other, Spanish. You can print the song out from that, or save it to your computer as a .pdf file.

Thanks, Sis. Perry. A wonderful gesture.

I just tied to print the music. Apparently it is in a pdf format and I can only print a jpg format. I don't know quite what to do to make it work. I loved the song when I heard it during the funeral. I lost my father a year and a half ago and the words are very comforting.

Go to the adobe website and download the free adobe reader. You should be able to view the music after you install it. Many, many things available on the web are in this format. I'd post the link, but they won't post me if I do. You can google it if you can't find it.

I'm curious as to how Kathy had a copy of this poem by President Hinckley in her files? Had it already been published? I absolutely love it. So simple and so profound. It speaks to the heart of the gospel.

Just in case anyone else was curious, I found the answer to my own question. "What is this thing that men call death" by Gordon B. Hinckley, was spoken/printed in The Empty Tomb Bore Testimony, Ensign, May 1988, 65.

After a short search, I found the music and had no problem to print it. As I played it, I struggled with the chords at the end of the second text line for the words of the first verse, 'gen - e -' they seen dissonant and what are the altos doing there, or am I hearing it wrong. I thank you for the song and hope to have my Ward Choir sing it soon.

Beautiful.......
another Sister in our Branch is to sing for the Easter program and has been looking for a song to sing. It will be comforting for residents to listen to in the care center we live in, as we are surrounded by people passing on...some take years to go
