I don't think people realize that steroid users always lie. Doesn't matter if they are pro athletes, college, HS, or weekend warriors.
Doesn't matter if they are talking to the press, their friends, family, girlfriends, coaches...
When a person uses steroids, they almost never admit to it.
I've seen it over and over.

Reminds me of the line once said by Hitler, "a lie is as good as the truth if enough people believe it". Time and time again the lie is what gets people in trouble. Look at Scooter Libby. Richard Nixon. Bill Clinton. Jimmy Carter, considered one of the worst Presidents in recent memory, went on TV and took full responsibility for the failed rescue attempt of the US Embassy hostages in Iran in 1979. That probably cost him his re-election bid. Our country seems to have a culture of not telling the truth and it starts at the top and we see it on TV every night, during every interview, during every debate. But then again, like it's been said, maybe we can't handle truth. Pity.
