It's very clear that there are a few non - Jehovah's Witnesses on here who write as if they were one, just to get people upset against Witnesses.

Someone wrote earlier that a Witness started strongly telling them they were going to "hell" for being a soldier. A genuine true Witness would not say that. Indeed, there are some that claim to be, but their actions/speach prove otherwise. We are taught to speak respectful in our speach to others and be humble, like young children are.

Admittedly I have had days where I would have rather slept in on a Saturday morning, but I exert myself and when I've gone out and talked to people after a couple of hours, I am very happy and satisfied. Matthew 24:14 says the "Good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited Earth - and then the end will come". This good news is currently being done in hundreds of languages/lands throughout the world. We truly care about people and believe that the Bible says to follow Jesus footsteps in this. Otherwise, we could all think of 1,000 other things to do on a Saturday if we didn't care.

I am LDS but I do not believe everything in the religion. I do not believe everything about anything whether it be my mom, my political party, my job or anything. I am pretty skeptical. I can not vouch for Joseph Smith or Brihgam Young because they are dead and I can not cross examine them. I do believe my religion is better than Jehovah Witnesses and all other religion. Here is why. In a Mormon church I am allowed to talk. Non Mormons are allowed to talk. Jehovah Witnesses will not allow you to talk unless you are a member. Pretty controlled conversation. Mormon girls are better looking. Education is emphasized not ridiculed. A Mormon mission is more valuable. You get to go to another place and learn another language or culture or both. Mormons have a better welfare plan. The biggest reason why I like Mormons is that they admit that the bible is not perfect and that there are truths in many religious books. I do wish Mormons would admit that the temple ceremony is dumb and that the prophet makes mistakes. We could have the ordinances without the masonic crap.

jehovah's witnesses does not claim that they are the fastest growing religion in the u.s, the survey was conducted by independent organizations, and for all your informations jehovah's witnesses is one of the few religious denomination who reports accurately in terms of membership, those who are engaged in their preaching work are the only one that counts not including those individuals who profess a jw but did not take part on it, even ex jws will agree on this.
