As for going on a mission, you are all so pious when it comes to others going on a mission, but look at BYU's basketball team.. Paisted, Cummard, are all non or failed missionaries. Haloti Ngata is a great kid who was married in the Temple and has a successful career. Did Steve Young go on a mission. Lose the self righteousness and realize that maybe these kids are doing what is right for them, even in a spiritual sense. Be honest with yourselves for once. Lying to yourself is still lying.
The day we don't have a few recruits being siphoned off by top 5 schools will be the day BYU drifts back into mediocrity.
Good luck Kavienga. I hope you have a great mission and a great career at USC and make the Church proud.

Kurt Gouvea was the best LB ever to play at the Y --- u know - I think MVP of a superbowl.
He was a running back from HI.
Did you notice how many RB/LBs were taken by the Y.
Someone knows what they are doing here.
Usually RBs are your best athletes - good for special teams, LB and even RB if needed.
Can't get enough of them - even LSU has alot of them.
If memory serves another RB at the Y played TE for the Raiders and was pretty good.
The Y will be just fine.
