I'm a Mormon and voted for Obama. I like Romney's business skills,
etc. but he believes in the radical position of many conservatives: get rid of
illegals. Conservatives, evangelicals, and many in the Republican party are as
dangeorus as some Islamic extremists! Latinos will decide who will be the next
president of this country. Viva la Raza

Sometimes we don't get what we want - i.e., Romney is out, but perhaps not
totally. The Huckmeister may, after all, see the "devil" in the
Whitehouse. I believe McCain, if he is smart, will select Mitt for VP on the (R)
ticket. That said - if you want to guarantee the appointment of more LIBERAL
JUDGES who will continue to attack traditional family values, help propagate
pornography, allow pedophiles and rapists to run rampant, then go ahead and vote
for either Clinton or Obama. To all republicans - Think with your head, not with
your emotions - do not vote democrat.

If Mitt thinks that dropping out is going to make it HARDER for Obama or Clinton
to win the presidency he is dead wrong! He is making it easier because so many
conservatives/moderates (myself included) would rather vote for a DEMOCRAT than

I am glad he's out of the race. We don't need a President who puts down the faith of others ("European churches are great backdrops for picture postcards, but they are empty inside.") The Faith in America Speech (4:26 p.m.), "Didn't Romney say he saw his
dad march with MLK in that speech? And didn't that turn out to be a blatant
lie?"
Yes he did and it turned out that it was a lie because Romney is a liar who changes his position every election he runs in. Furthermore, not only did he say that he saw his father march with MLK he also backtracked and said he was only figuratively speaking and didn't see it with his eyes and then we learned that he also said "he and his father marched with MLK" so either he was blind when he and his father marched with MLK or he lied the first and the second time because he's a liar. It's sad to watch a member of the Church behave in this manner but liars are members of the Church too.

Wow, this is my first time out here and probably will be my last on the blogs.
This, my friends, is the most disrespectful site I've ever been on. Some of
you guys might want to think about moving on. There are other blog sites where
you wouldn't have to subject yourself to this negativity and bad manners
and the tone of speech is a lot more elevated.

All mormons, you should be aware that america is watching your reaction to Mitt
droping out. Did you really exspect 51% of the GOP to vote like the 98% of you
all did. Such hatred and sour grapes from this religion. But a word of caution,
he spared the church the wrath of hate not seen since the days of Joseph Smith
and Brig. Young, because the DEM,s would have shown no mercy on the mormon
church. Just watch the next few weeks how they attack each other, for the sake
of winning. Then see if you still want to get revenge, by voting for Hillary or
Obama. I predict that Mitt will be back in 2012.

He really was the best candidate that has ran in decades. His expertise is
unmatched. Maybe he will be VP or run again in 2012. I cannot vote for McCain or
Huckabee so Obama it is. Voters who haven't voted yet should vote with
write in votes for Romney. WE have learned a lot about America by Romney
running. HE won 11 states and initially West Virginia. He received 4 million
votes to McCain's 4.7 and Huckabee was left in the dust. The other
candidates conspired against him and that is proven by the media. Their staff
members would help each other out with dirt on Mitt. He had the republican base
and commentators all backing him. This really has changed the republican party.
Bigotry just fractured the party and maybe the chances of it staying in power.

by Rocky Hulse and printed by Xulon Press. It is a real eye opener. I sincerely
hope and pray that the scales that blind millions of Mormons to the truth of the

How can you call Romney classy when it was him that initiated the Negative,
attack ads against the other Republican candidates?
The other Republican candidates didn't dislike him because of his religion, and you know this is true. People in the senate, including John McCain, have nothing but good things to say about Senators Hatch and Bennett.
The Republican candidates disliked him because he constantly threw mud at them. He tried to buy the American people, but they legitimately rejected him in the election, and not because of his religion.
And lets be honest, even if he was a good candidate, Romney legitimately flip flopped when it was convenient, even more so than Mrs. Clinton, which says a lot. This is undeniable.
Please, all of you, grow up, and stop being so self-righteous.

who went to bed at night was often radically different than the one who got up
that morning ... if he had stuck to what he does best and not tried to be

If he converted to Catholicism he probably would of still lost. I think we have
only had one catholic president in the United States. I am pretty sure someone
will correct me if I am wrong.
I also doubt his religion played a big factor in his defeat. He was competitive in most of the states, he just wasn't consistent on the issues and I think that hurt him most of all.

Baptists are. I don't think it's a Mormon issue. It's a Baptist

If our people living in this great country of FREEDOM would just wake up, really open their eyes, and be open-minded, they could see through some of the dirty tricks some of the candidates are doing, and the shallow promises they are making. It's not who sounds the best, or who can fake it, but who
truly wants to make a change for the better in America. It was Mitt Romney, but he's dropped out. I truly look forward to him running again and maybe, just maybe, the bigoted people of the world will see what he can do to heal America and let us be great in the eyes of the world again. I have travel the world extensively and am shocked at the disdain foreigners have for Americans. Could it be because our cowboy President was too bossy and lacked PR?! We need at this time a President who can talk well and LISTEN to the people. McCain & Huckabee don't have what it takes. All I can say is Help!
