What a class act. I've been skeptical of Romney and his integrity, but if

So now the race is between three liberals. Great....
I think I will go with Hillary, as I think she can destroy this country faster than Obama or McCain can do it, and I am anxious to see it all come unraveled so people can learn their lesson that freedom is something you earn, not just wait around to be handed to you.
About all one could hope for is to create a super majority of republicans in Congress, and then watch Hillary be totally impotent as they overrun her vetos, and fail to move on any of her ideas. That might be something fun to watch.

while I have been undecided about Mitt, I am concerned because I feel as though
we are left with nothing but dirty politicians. I hate to say it, but Obama
just might be the best choice. I hope that Huckabee gets whatever Mccain
promised him.

This is how it has to be, but I am sad to hear of it. Mitt will regroup and
come on strong in 2012. By then the country will really need him. In the mean
time we have a lot of work to do to assuage feelings of mistrust for Mormons.
This is a responsibility we all share.

That is too bad. I thought Romney would have a chance in the general election
against Hillary. I don't think that I can bring myself to vote for McCain.
I don't trust the guy and he seems like a weasil. I may vote for Hillary
but that is sickening in itself. Obama? Don't know where he stands on any
issues.

This is a correct and classy move by Romney. He is taking the prudent course
and by so doing puts himself in good position for 2012. In the interim, all
reasonable Republicans need to join forces in support of Senator McCain. There
are many important reasons - not the least of which are winning the war and the
potential of three retiring Supreme Court justices in the next years.

I didn't donate to Mitt. I was turned off by his former stance on
abortion, but the thought crossed my mind just now, what happens to the money
all these other people donated. Anybody know what ex candidates do with their

Well, Mitt, you know you could move to Utah and get elected to whatever state
office you want -- governor, Senator, you name it you got it. You'll get
at least 90% of the vote in Utah whatever you do. In Utah county you are
assured at least 94% of the vote!

It will be interesting to see how quickly HUCKLEBEE drops out now that Mitt is
gone. If he drops out quickly it will definitely imply some collusion between
he and McCain, in that Huckebee was merely being used as a tool to weaken
Romney's position among Republican conservatives to merely push McCain
through as the Republican nominee.
I can now only hope that Obama can win the Democratic nomination, otherwise we can be assured of another Clinton in the White House!

Definitely not an easy decision to make but if he had been a democrat, he would
have had more chance at both the nomination and the presidency. I'm LDS and
had looked forward to seeing a Mormon be the next U.S. presidents but in a
country where much value is given to the words of a body builder, not much can
be expected.
Seems like the fate of the white house has been sealed; America has another Clinton to clean after another Bush. Just what the world needs.

It is time to move on, and remember the past and look to the future. Don't
wast your votes look into those that will be up in Nov. and vote smart. That is

I am sick he is out of the race. He may not have the speaking abilities of an
Obama, or the shallow promises of a Hillary, etc., but he is a class act and it
will be our loss to not have him as a choice. Where do the conservatives turn
at this point;

I wish some of you "haters" loved America as much as Mitt Romney. He
wants to unite the party and knows he can't do that staying in the race. I
think he is exercising great integrity. We need more people like him.

How is this "great news for the Republican Party"? While I
wasn't necessarily a Mitt supporter, I certainly am not happy with any of
the other choices. Now we have three LIBERALS in the lead -- Clinton, Obama and
McCain, who is nothing but a liberal Democrat masquerading as a Republican and
not doing a very good job of hiding it at that. I seriously doubt I will even
vote in the upcoming Presidential election as I feel there are really no viable
choices on either side of the aisle. I shudder to think what's in store
for our country with any of these three in the driver's sear.

I cannot in good conscience vote for the liberal republican McCain. I would
rather see the Democrats take office and ruin things than damage the Rebulican

Though I'm disappointed, because I saw Mitt as the only candidate I would
support, I respect his views and his decision. In my eyes, he was the only
candidate to beat either Obama or Clinton and now I don't even want to
vote! Our Country is going down the tubes! Yeah! I'll write him in and
vote for him anyway.
