Maybe now the "Media" can give it a rest on AK going to Phoenix. Maybe it almost happened, but it is old news. MOVE ON!

Barkley was brave to pick the Jazz to win the WCF's but as we have seen of late it is possible if they play like they are now. In a 7 game series they could play with most any team.

Barkley did make a mistake though....if we do meet Detroit in the finals there is no way we are losing to them. They have been our "girls" for a while now. We own those boys--they can not even beat us on their own court. D-Will dominates Billups and AK piles up the blocks against those guys. IF we were to get to the Finals we will in all!!!

Jimmy doesn't think AK is going anywhere this season.

Kyle Korver had only 3 rebounds and 4 fouls to go along with his 27 points last night, but he impacted the game, was in at the end, and was money when we needed it. Sometimes scoring alone is enough, from one player. Did you ever hear of Vinnie (microwave) Johnson?

Barkely's a smart guy! Nice to get some national recognition from someone. I wish Kirilenko would stop stringing us all along, decide he does like playing for the Jazz and coach Sloan, and put it to rest by saying so. His repeated non-committal responses to whether he still wants to be traded or not keep me worried that he does want to leave and isn't always giving his best. I still miss the exuberant style of play Andre showed his first two years in the NBA.

The Jazz don't need a trade they fixed the problem they had they got them a legitimate 2 guard Korver baby Korver. He is our missing piece

Where did Barkley predict the Jazz to win the West? Can it be found online? On one of the TNT videos? I wanna see it.

Kirilenko is a win-win situation for the Jazz. If he doesn't stay, he's worth a lot in a trade. In the meantime, even if he isn't content, he's playing just fine(for now, anyway).

Trade him... | 11:39 a.m. Feb. 7, 2008
If things stay as they are now, that is great! But realistically what are the chances of that? Sooner or later he won't be getting the ball and will start whining again. His value will NEVER be higher than it is now.

Don't get me wrong I love him, he is playing great, I love the move to get Jeff involved in his shooting (why did it take us this long to figure out we needed someone to help him?). Problem he is overpaid. We have a wealth of young talent that NEEDS to be tested, and re-signed with the money we are giving AK now.

If we can lock up most of our guys now that is best. Imagine how good we could become with everybody feeding off of each other for 4 years.

Otherwise it is keep AK and end up losing out on Milsap and/or Brewer and others. He is not worth it.

I'd rather trade Boozer and his amazing defensive skills than AK.

for sure get rid of Ak47...yes he is playing ok but like everyone is saying his trade value is as high as it will ever get...so trade him to the bucks and get michael redd or even trade him and okur to the rockets and try to get mcgrady just get the most out for kirelenko right now rather then get draft picks later

I doubt the Jazz could get anywhere near Michael Redd value. Besides, if the Jazz trade AK, we needs to get defense in return. I like what we're getting from AK, so I say stay with him.

Why trade anyone this is a good team, you are one of like 10 teams with a chance to win it all, what more do you want. Jazz fans whine all the time.

I don't quite understand fans that jump on or of a players band wagon based upon a bad game, or a passing concern with a coach. This is a business that we all love watching and rooting for. We are not going to be happy with every aspect of the game, or the politics involved in sports. That said, get a grip people, the team is playing it's best ball in years! If we were to lose an AK, a Boozer, etc. that would affect the team in a harsh way. Now is Utah's best shot at getting the coveted prize! If they keep playing and growing together they will continue to get stronger and better, and every Jazz hater out there will have to eat their words! It's time to back our team, and every player on it! This coming from a longtime Jazz fan outside of the Utah borders!

Redd or McGrady?? We don't need another SG or SF. The Jazz will be fine. If McGrady (McChoke) came here I would never watch the Jazz again.

Don't trade AK | 1:54 p.m. Feb. 7, 2008
Who we need to trade for is Indianas Jeff Foster. If we could unload Hart and Collins for him we would have our backup defensive center and our picture would be complete.

Didn't Barkley pick us to win last year too? I swear he's got a man crush on D Will or something. I bet he's in Charles' top 5.

What would Redd accomplish? McGrady (a proven loser)? The team is stout. Quit worrying. The only hole is a backup point guard. Okur is developing into a more physical player and the game last is exactly what the Jazz need to stop being so soft. Trades are over, give it a rest and leave the talk to real Jazz fans. Not player fans.
