Fess isn't even D-league material. The guy is a bust

He is certainly not playing as good as he should but a "bust" is a little strong. He is a kid. He needs time.

Fesenko barely played on his Ukrainian team; he's the equivalent of a kid coming out of high school. Very few can step out of HS and into the NBA (guys like Kobe, Garnett and Dwight Howard are few and far between).

We can't expect an instant return on K-Fes. If he were already a international superstar, we wouldn't have been able to pick him up in the 2nd round. But he's young, big and tall and is very coachable.

General Rule of thumb is it takes a big guy 3-5 years to develop.

The Jazz will continue to work with him on fundamentals during the off-season. But I wouldn't be surprised to see him play most of next season in the D-League as well. Then he would be the equivalent of a college sophomore.

A good comparison might be Andrew Bynum. He averaged 2 pts his first season with the Lakers and Kobe threw a fit when Kupchak wouldn't trade him last year for Kidd. Now, in his third season, Bynum's already a top-15 center and will continue to improve. If we're lucky, Fes may have the same potential.

Looks like people have no basket ball since if one thinks that fess is a bust he just need better comp.
