Has knowone heard of natural selection. How do people thinks for thousands of years the dear have managed to survive? Long before we where around. If they get fed by anyone other than themselves this will just keep the weeker ones alive to breed more week ones for the comming years. Let nature do its thing. God forbid we don't have enough to hunt needlessly. That is the main reason we still hunt dear I hear every year is to THIN THE HEARD they say. Give me a break!

Because we have "removed" their natural areas for food in heavy snow winters, we should feed them. If too many die it will offset the natural balance of the food chain.

You are saying there is not enough rural or wilderness area for the bulk of the dear to survive Just because dear around the city have lost there lower grazing area. Does nature itself not ever offset the natural balance?

Save more deer by feeding them, that way we have more to hit next summer with our vehicles.

Has anyone ever considered training the deer to cross the roads in cross walks to help save more deer?
