Gender identity bias bill headed to interim study

Gay's should not be allowed to adopt children or foster children, it's gives a mixed message about identity to the children. A gay cannot propegate so they should not be allowed to interact and confuse children about their sexual identity. The results aren't in yet but in a few years we will start seeing the results of these types of sexually disfunctional homes as the children grow up in to adulthood. Homosexuality has no legal responsibilty to society or their live in members. They should not be given any special laws or protections from a society based on family and the human ability to procreate as a couple. If a couple cannot procreate, beyond a medical reason they can't bear children, they should not be allowed to assume the roll of a surrogate parent or family. The individual child identity is more important than living in a sexually disfunctional home of homosexuals.

By putting this bill into an interim study all the legislature has done is let it die a slow death by letting it languish in the "desert." Face it, the legislators are politicians and they simply do not want to deal with this "too hot" civil rights issue because their constituents would skewer them back home.

This law is a good first step to give separate protection to people who choose to change sexes. Hopefully this bill will move our Utah cities out of the dark ages and into a more enlightened state, like San Francisco. There, city employee sex change operations are paid for by the government. This too, would be an important advance for our backwater burg. Now, realistically, we don't want to get too carried away with this idea. I'd be for a cap of two changes per employee.

There are numerous children needing to be fostered or adopted; our prejudices against loving foster parents shouldn't bar them from being placed in a good home. Gay people should absolutely be able to foster and/or adopt.

It's sad that a wonderful state like Utah which is probably one of the best places in the country to raise a family cannot be left alone by the homosexual mafia
