My children were on Chip for several years. It was excellent insurance, better even the Educators Mutual we have now through my wife's employment. The copays for doctors visits and prescriptions were much lower than what we have now. We never hesitated to go to the doctor or dentist knowing that our out of pocket cost would be very affordable. In fact we are more hesitant to see a doctor now than we were before.
