Thank you, President Hinckley, for inspiring me to be the best I can be, in spirit, word, thought, deed, as a person and daughter of our Heavenly Father, and as a mother. I have always felt the warmth of the Savior's love and protection, knowing you were near and here to guide and protect me and my loved ones. You have taken a large part of me with you. I will miss you very much. Till we meet again...

Praise to the man. He was so positive, and so full of love; such and example to all. I cried when I heard of his passing, but he was a great man, who lived an exemplary life. I grew into the gospel while he was the prophet. I will miss him, but I am happy he can reunite with his wife. Death has no victory through Jesus Christ.

At President Hinckley's first news conference in the Joseph Smith Building following announcement of his new resposibilities as President of the LDS Church, he was asked to describe the focus of his ministry. He answered, "Carry On." I think that is the best way we can honor and remember our beloved Prophet Leader by making "Carry On" our personal motto. "Carry on" in the work President Hinckley so diligently, brilliantly, inspirationally set the pace, remembering, as he did, the debt we owe to our "pioneer forbears" while we each do our part to prepare the world for the Savior's return.
Following a 1998 meeting honoring Sister Hinckley, my husband and I rode down the elevator with President and Sister Hinckley. This was shortly after their trip to Ghana in which he announced the Temple in that country. I asked President Hinkley where he would be going next, and with typical Hinckleyesque wit he answered "To bed, I hope!"

Dear President Hinckley, Enjoy a brief, well-deserved rest and reunion with your beloved Margorie before you don your "roller skates" again and get back to work in the Spirit World.

It's hard to imagine the church without President Hinckley. He was more than a great leader, he was a great human being. His personality and demeanor did wonders for the church, but more importantly for my own family. Although my five year old daughter only had the privilege to see him on tv and his smiling face in the Ensign, she was nearly unconsolable at the news of his passing. He will truly be missed!

Our family will miss hearing President Hinckley at conference, being inspired by his words and lifted by his wonderful sense of humor. What a unique and wonderful man--it is no wonder he was so loved by many the world over. He can now join his beloved Marjorie.

How can one express how much this great prophet meant to not only the Church, the world and my family, but to all humanity. I loved him. He was my hero! The Carlson family will always remember his humor and love for people. My son said something to me last night that I had not thought of. He is 21 years old and said dad President Hinckley is the only prophet Iï¿½ve known. It will be that way for all the youth of the church. He will be missed, but the joy of reunion must have been exceptional. We the Carlson family, rejoice in his life and thank the Lord for such a great leader, mentor, friend and prophet.

What a wonderful man! I will miss his sweet words of incouragement and incredible sense of humor. I am so thankful that he was the Prophet during my teenage years. I looked forward to every General Conference. His messages made me want to try harder to be better. I am so happy he is able to be with his darling wife right now. Even though we are sad at the passing of our beloved Prophet President Gorden B Hinckley, WE all know how much He loved his Marjorie,and how she loved and adored him.
To know He and his sweet-sweet Marjorie are at last together again. OH, how thankful I am for this church for the restoration of the Gospel, and my testimony of Eternal Families.
We add our testimony, We know the Gospel is true, that President Hinckley is a Prophet of God, we will see him again-We know He and Marjorie are together again, Oh, can't you just see them together again, what joy this brings me. Knowing that not only Marjorie but his family and friends were there waiting for him.
Can you hear the Savior saying to President Hinckley "Well done my faithful servant...well done.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hinckley family, and the Saints around the world, as we all mourn together, let us remember, this is all part of the Great Plan, the Work will continue His word will continue to go forth.....

What a wonderful man, leader and had a great sense of humor!

When serving my mission in Alaska in 1978, President Hinckley visited our mission and met most of the missionaries in Anchorage. When introduced he looked at my name tag and said: "Elder Frost you're in the right place"!

My sweet daughter, Danielle texted me Sunday, Jan 27th, at 7:55 PM, MST advising me of President Hinckleys passing. My wife and I were attending a regional meeting in St George when the text message came. What a great man who was loved by many. My first memories of Pres Hinckley were listening to conference talks on "reel to reel tapes" while serving a mission to Norway in the early 60's. His voice was always calm and comforting and gave advice that I remember to this day. It is comforting knowing that he is welcomed by his lovely wife, Marjorie. We love you and will miss your wise counsel and advice. God speed.

After I received the news from my son Jacobï¿½s call, I got in to my knees and preyed, I sow great rejoice and happiness in Heaven, angels with trumpeters announcing President Hinckleyï¿½s arrive, a hush congregation was waiting on him, specially his beloved family, I could see our Heavenly Father with Jesus Christ walking to meet President Hinckley, hugging him and saying: Well done, welcome home! Every body celebrating and greeting him, he is very, but very happy to be there.

I had the privilege to meat President Hinckley and wife, sacked his hands in Mexico Cityï¿½s Temple Benediction by that time he wasnï¿½t president of the church, later on, I sow him as president of the Church in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico. He was one of the grates men lived on earth.

President Hinckley was the president of my youth- the beloved man who guided the Church and represented it ably to inquiring media and public across the world.

And how do we honor the memory of such a great man? He brought us temples and asked us to use them more often, so we will. He set the standard for charity to all nations, so we must continue to donate and reach out in love to those in distress. He pleaded with us to be kind and loving to all mankind, to behave like true Christians, and so we will leave our political, religious and social differences behind us. He counseled us to be free of debt and leave the entrapments of the world behind. There is no better way to honor this prophet of God than to heed his counsel and "get to work"! When we honor him, we honor God.

We are saddened by the passing of a great leader. At the same time we are happy that he is now with his beloved wife. He will be greatly missed by people from all walks of life and from all parts of the World. He truly brought the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the knowledge of people around the globe.

We will miss him but are happy with the knowledge that the Leadership of the Church is in the hands of the Lord and the Council of the twelve appostles.

I was honoured to be in the Celestial Room of the Preston, England Temple with him when it was dedicated. I was overwhelmed by the spirit on that occasion. I remember his good and loving nature, his sense of humour, and also his absolute authority and reverence when it came to the dedication itself. What a wonderful man. I shall miss him.

Anything that I say at this time will surely feel inadequate to express my feeling for President Hinckley. He was the president of the church when I was converted, my wife's and I first visit to a temple and obviously our eternal marriage.
He was honored by many of and not of LDS membership. He loved the saints and expressed this love in many discourses, these I will truly miss. Those who have gone on before us will now benefit his presents and love.

President Hinckley had been a great inspiration and a force behind my keeping to the straight and narrow. I have never seen the man - but I have a strong testimony of his being a true prophet. I had hoped to travel from Toronto to Utah this year just to hear him speak. I have been inactive many times in the past and truly "do not procrastinate the day of your salvation." Although I have been active in church for the past year, I regret the days, months and even years I've lost for the opportunity to hear the prophet speak. He will continue to speak to my heart though. While we will surely miss him, he is now joyously in the company of his wife and the rest of his eternal family with his beloved boss - Jesus Christ whom he had served whole-heartedly in his lifetime

President Hinckley has done so much good for the Lords anointed and the world. Though his life just short of centenarian, not many could have accomplished what he has in his century here on earth.

With the Templeï¿½s dedicated and the work of the Lord going forward, his star will be a match with the seventeen jeweled stars crowning the Holy of Holies in the Salt Lake Temple.

As the fifteenth President of the Lordï¿½s Church and Kingdom here on earth, his fulfillment of revelations given to Joseph Smith in bringing the Church ï¿½forth out of obscurity and out of darknessï¿½ has been an impact for good to this great Faith born in the Americaï¿½s.

As the Lord has said to those who have returned to him beyond the vail, "Well done Though good and Faithfull servant, enter ye into the joy of the Lord." so it is with Gordon Bitner Hinckley.

I am so greatful for the many messages given by President Hinkley and for his wise counsel. I will never forget sitting at his feet in the many Conferences. His great work. I know that truely He is a Prophet of the Living God and that he was called by him to accomplish the marvelous work he has done on this Earth.
