I was at a loss upon hearing the news. My condolences to the Hinckley family.
President Hinckley was truly a Prophet of God! I will always remember the time
he came to visit the Navajo Nation in Window Rock, AZ. Thank you President
Hinckley for your love, teachings, example and leadership. You will truly me
missed, but glad that you are reunited with your beloved wife, Marjorie.

President Hinckley was an amazing prophet! Everytime I listen to him speak I
feel the spirit. We will always remember him. What a great example he was to us.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and we will be praying for your family. I
love you President Hinckley!!

We are all very sad at the passing of our beloved prophet, President Hinckley.
We loved him and will miss his warmth and witty sense of humor. The last few
years have been tough on him without his dear sweet Marjorie. Never have we
seen such devotion and love before. What a blessing it was to be present for the
last session of conference this past October and he see him. We'll never
forget this opportunity. Our prayers go out to his family at this difficult
time. As hard as it is for us in the church to lose our prophet, the Hinckley
family lost their Dad. I'm sure they are smiling thinking about that
reunion between their parents. Thank you Hinckley family for sharing him with
us all these many years. We will miss you and we love you! ! !

I say in honor of President Hinckley they should re-name the Conference Center
in Salt Lake where they hold General Conference and other events. The new name?
Maybe: The Hinckley Conference Center.
Anyone else like this idea? Someone should suggest it to the Church officials, I might soon. The more people that suggest it, the better chance of it happening.

What bittersweet emotions this stirs up in our hearts. President Hinckley has
been called home and is rejoined with his eternal companion. We will miss him
so much, but will forever be affected by his great legacy. Our sincere
condolences go out to his wonderful family.

I'm deeply saddened by the passing of our dear Prophet, but happy he is now
with his sweetheart. I'm also very thankful that we got to see and hear
from our dear Prophet at our Southern California Stake Conference via satellite
transmission on Sunday, January 13. Beautiful parting words to remember him by.
He was and is a remarkable human being. God Bless the Hinckley family.

Pres.Hinckley has done a powerful impact in my life and my family. We love him
very much.Thank you Pres.Hinckley for all you had done to me and my family and
to the whole world.Im just happy to know that you will be with your loved
ones,specially Sis Hinckley.I thought that Pres.Hinckley can visit us again in
the Philippines to celebrate w/ us for the Jobillee year 2011.He was the one who
opened and dedicated our country for missionary work almost 50 yrs ago.Now,many
had been blessed by his efforts.The phils.now has 600thousand members and is
continuing to grow.Thank you Pres.Hinckley,I know that you will never be
forgotten and you will always be in the hearts of every Filipino Latter Day
Saint.I had met you while I was serving in the fulltime mission more than 22 yrs
ago and hope to meet you again in the next life.President Hinckley is trully a
Prophet of God.

I myself will greatly miss our beloved World Leader President Gordon B. Hinkley.
He was indeed a great example to everyone to follow and for years to come. I

I will miss President Hinckley, he became Prophet, Seer & Revelator just a
couple months after I joined the church. I loved his words of wisdom, candor and
care of others, it is and was infectious. I hope we all will stand a little
taller, be a little kinder, and love a little easier, as he wanted us to always.
I cannot think of a more Christ Like Man than this man. I am glad he is with his
sweetheart once again united. He will be missed, but the work in which he was
engaged here on the earth will roll forth to fill the world, as he prophesied,
and as those before him did as well. May God Bless Him Always.

What a great inspiration and example. Great leaders only come along every now
and then. He will be missed. I can't help but think of the wonderful
reunion with his wife, his dear friend Elder Faust, and his parents and other
relatives. These are happy times beyond the veil.

When I first heard the news i thought it was a lie. I never thought it would
ever happen. He was a wonderful man who changed many lives. He will be hard to
replace, but I find comfort in the fact that God knows what he is doing and will
replace him with a man just as wonderful, loving, and serving. May we always
remember his legacy and instead of mourning his death, we should celebrate his
life and always following his teachings and strive to return to are father in
heaven and meet with each of the prophets again.

Sacramento California Temple Celebration...President Hinckley walked out, raised
his cane, and 5,000 youth plus thousands at ARCO arena stood and raised their
voices in shouts of joy at seeing their beloved prophet. We will never forget
what that felt like as it was the first time we were in the same room as
President Hinckley! (Sister Clark cried like a baby) Incredible Prophet,
incredible man, he will be missed in our home. We love you President Hinckley.
Our prayers are with his family.

Gordon missed his wife dearly for almost 4 years. During this time, his hurt had
never waned, as he missed her to no end.
He even indicated that the loneliness gnaws into the sould incessantly.
We never knew the many tears he had shed over the last 4 years, and I believe that we shouldn't be selfish, as President Hinckley just wanted to be with his dear wife again.
Now they're together again, and that's all that matters. He is a human being after all, with feelings as tender as any man with a big heart.

He was our prophet, and our leader!!! We will all miss him!!!! But he is in a
good place.. in heaven wih his wife and Heavenly Father!!!!! Go Tanner, Steve,

Gordon Bitner Hinckley in my opinion was one of the greatest phrophets along
with Joseph Smith. He will be sorely missed.

Pres. Hinckley's death brought a few moments of solitude and contemplation
to me last night. I will miss his counsel. It caught me by surprise and made
me think of how often we don't realize our love for people until they have
passed away. He has helped to shape who I am, not by force or guilt, but by
truly being a disciple of Christ.

Gordon B. Hinckley was a valiant spirit in the pre-existence and in this life.
He was a true servant of the Lord. He taught and lived the 6 be's.

I never had the privilege to shake his hand but I got to see him from far away at the Jubilee Celebration in S A Tx. I appreciated the advice he always gave the youth. I am so glad this great man lived, and lead the Church of Jesus Christ, for as
long as he did. He is truely a prophet of God. He can now join his sweet wife
and for that I am happy. He will miss the Rexsburg Temple dedication, and that
one he wanted to do and that is sad. However, there are over 120 temples
operating today thanks to Gordon B. Hinckley, a man of God! We love you! Return
and report the great work of your life!

President Hinckley was truly an inspiration to all of us. Not many people are as
dedicated these days with their work as he was with his. Through the
improvements he has made in the Church's functionings and with a more media

I will miss his smile and positive attitude, that he expressed to everyone. I
has been enlightening to be under his influence. We must continue to have

What a man! What a prophet! Along with Sister Hinckley, I'm sure President
Hinckley was greeted by Nephi, Moroni and the Prophet Joseph Smith and offered
hearty congratulations for his stewardship. Someone commented, "The Church
won't be the same without him." The Church will be fine, but General
Conference will never be the same for me. I love this prophet with all my
heart. He always struck a chord in my spirit. I am happy for him and his
reuniting with Sister Hinckley but sad for myself and all those who will miss
him too. My prayers are with his family, President Monson, President Eyring and
the rest of the Brethren who worked with him and knew him and loved him well.

not. We as members of the church know what a blessing it is to have a man here

I offer my condolences to President Hinckley's family. He will surely be
missed. He had an enormous impact on the growth of the Church, both
spiritually, and in membership. I can imagine the Lord personally telling

Upon learning of President Hinckley's passing, I said a prayer with my
little three-year-old daughter-a brand new Sunbeam. We gave thanks for living
during his lifetime and having been taught at his knee. I have felt comfort all
day long and a sense of calm and confidence. Thank you President Hinckley for
