President Gordon B. Hinckley was a great and kind man i am so sad he died and
that he didn't live longer. I morn his loss and that he is so gone he will
never be back. I will always remember this historic profit. he lived longer than
any other prophet in our church. I wish he did not die. I feel bad for his
familys loss. it is such a trajic event that almost everybody knows about. i
just wish he could of lived longer. all his humer was so fun to listen to he
gave such great talks and how he loved the whole church. he was such a great man
and how he loved to give talks. he was a verh faithful man and i will never ever
forget this profet. I was hopeing he would live to be one-hundred but he didnt
make it he was hopeing he could live to see another general confrence. he loved
evrybody.

He will be missed. I am sure he is happy with Sister Hinckley. I know that
though the Prophet has died the office has not and we will always have a
prophet.

What a great man and great example. I hope I can honor his life by following his
great words and counsel. Someone needs to write a 2nd part to his
biography--he's accomplished so much in in the last few years. Truly an
example of a follower of Christ. Glad he can reunite with his sweet wife.

testimony, and feeling of your love for all of us. I rejoice, however, in your
reunion with your sweet wife, your parents, the Prophet Joseph and so many

My 12 year old son, William, came into our room late last night unable to sleep;
he had been crying as he overheard a phone conversation we had just had about
the passing of President Gordon B. Hinckley. In his own way of coping he said,
"Well, President Hinckley is now one of the Great Prophets of the
Past!"
Yet, his mortal legacy will always be present, as it will continue to bless the lives of the Saints and their descendants into the Millennium and beyond.
Thank you President Hinckley for your exemplary devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and your endearing love for all mankind. As one who not only Stood For Something, but also tirelessly worked for the betterment of all God's children, you were the epitome of a true Latter-day Disciple of Christ.
In life you humbly eschewed the praises of man, but now in the spirit you will not be able to silence their tributes!
God Bless you and your loved ones forever.

Pres. Hinckley a true disciple of God through his ever loving Christlike service

To heed his council is the best way we can pay our respects. The world needs to
listen to the simple truths that he professed and taught. The proclamation to
the world about families is one of the most treasured doctrines we have.
It is comforting to know that he was received by loved ones including his dear wife and our Savior.
I have no doubt he is already up there serving relentlessly. What an example and inspiration.

He was a builder of men and buildings.
Hope I can accomplish something at least 1% of what he did! I will have lived a lifetime. He has done about 100 men's worth of accomplishments. I hope he can rest for a while in heaven after he sees his wife and dear friends.

As a convert to the church in the mid '80s he was one of the leaders that I was particularly drawn to. He seemed to be such a decent man that inpired everyone, of his religion or not.
He will certainly be missed, but not forgotten.

I am so thankful for President Hinckley. For his example, his leadership, his
humor, his optimism, and his love. He has been a hero to me and inspired me to
continually try a little harder to do a little better.

In my opinion he was the greatest prophet of the twentieth century. He will be
greatly missed, but he has trained many great men to take his place. God bless

President Gordon B. Hinckley was my hero. He was a great friend and truly a
prophet of God. I am grateful for his righteous example and teachings. I
remembered as a young boy, he invited my family to his home. We had the best
family home evening that I will never forget. God be with you till we meet

The world in quantum has lost its best friend. It is difficult to form the
proper conjecture in such a monumental time when my heart is so affected with
sadness. Contrary to such feelings, I contemplate the most eventful
happenstance on the other side of the veil of our Prophet reuniting with his
sweet wife and many other loved ones. Oh, what an oxymoran of miserable joy that
I feel! I will always remember President Hinckley as the "builder" as
he forwarded the building of the confernce center, the building of so many
temples, and the building of the church's rapport through the media. I
will so miss this great builder.

I was very sadden at first but then in the same breath I was so happy to know
the wonderful reunion he is having with his beloved wife, Marjorie, and his
family that has passed on before him. I also pictured him meeting President
Joseph Smith and the other wonderful prophets that have preceded him. What a
glorious reunion for him. I love him and am very grateful for his wonderful
service he did for us while on this earth. He will be greatly missed!

If only I had known what a great man a sinner like me had the privilege of
sitting next to, for dinner, a few years back. I would have had so much to ask
him. He was definitely a man of the people, inspired by God. His wisdom, humor,
and insight will truely be missed.

I was looking forward to seeing him at the spring session of general
Conference.He was such a happy soul, and had great humor.
I have never seen him before, but thats just too bad. He was a Wonderful prophet. He Inspired to many people

There are few who matched this tremendous spirit in life. He stands tall among
the likes of Joseph, Brigham, Abraham, Enoch and Issac. His leadership and
presence was reassuring during his latter-day tenure and the void is acutely
felt. To me he was a hero...to me he provided hope and reassurance....to me he
was a lighthouse amid the turmoil of today's worldly difficulties.
It's a sad day for for us who are here but such a joyous day, I am sure,
when he was greeted by his sweet bride. God bless you Gordon B. Hinckley you
will be missed!

It is strange to think that on Jan 4, 2008 he was talking with Brother Watson
before Brother Watson attended the Bountiful Temple to perform our sealing. At
our ceramony Brother Watson stated that he spoke with President Hinckley as he
was getting ready to attend the Capitol's dedication. Brother Watson stated
that President Hinckley sent us his blessings. And as we were gathered around as
a family at the dinner table and hearing of the death of our prophet was very
emotional. President Hinckley was a righteous man and lead our church to many
new milestones. He will ever be remembered in our new journey as we were given
his blessings when kneeling across the alter.

I keep hearing everyone say that they are so saddened by the loss, I must
honestly say that I am not, we all know where he is going due to the way he
lived his life and we also know that he is going to see his best friend,
Marjoray whom he must have felt lonliness in her passing, I am grateful for the
example President Hinckley always gave and his great love for the temple. I am
also appreciative of the true gospel that lets me know that the church will
continue on.

President Hinckley has been an inspiration in my life and I will miss him
greatly. However, I am so thankful for the the lessons he taught me and my
family. Ultimately, it brings me peace to know that he is with his lovely wife

I can only imagine the joyous reunion of President Hickley and his sweet wife.
I am happy for them though it still brings selfish tears to my eyes to think of
his passing. How blessed my husband and I were to be so close to him at General
Conference and feel of his spirit. We will forever remember him raising his
cane to wave and smiling as he was leaving the stage. I feel like I've
lost a personal friend. I miss you President Hickley...

His soft kind voice resinates deep within my soul; the love which flooded with
every utterance stands as a sweet testimony of the love Pres. Hinkley has for

of the love and respect that this fine gentleman had inspired, not only among
the members of his faith, but also from several who were not members of the
faith.

Hard to express my feelings at this time. I so looked forward to seeing and
hearing President Hinckley every Conference. He is such a great example of
enduring to the end. His wit,humor and sincerity was what endeared him to all.
My first thought was great, now he finally gets to be with his dear wife. Thank
you President Hinckley for everything you gave to the world. You will be missed
and loved by many forever.
