All lives have been enriched and blessed by this great man. He has served
faithfully as a representative of the Lord Jesus Christ, and has been called
home. May we remember always his love and dedication.

A prophet to the world not just to the mormons. He will be missed by all. What
a great legacy he has left for God's children. May all of us try a little
harder to live a life similar to his. Imagine what a great place the world
would be if we were all like Gordon B. Hinckley.

Now I understand why President Monson didn't sound or look like himself
yesterday during our Stake conference Broadcast. There are no words that can
express the lose we will feel. President Hinckley was an example of how hard we
should all be working at what ever task we are given and to do it with viger and
humer but sted fast to what ever our father would have us do. We love you
President Hinckley and Thank you for all you did and the love and example you
gave us.

A life well lived! We are grateful to Pres. Hinckley for all of his service and
all of his great words of wisdom. I was just wondering yesterday if he would be
able to come to the Rexburg Temple dedication, and while he won't be there
in person I am confident he will be there in spirit now. His Temple building
work continues and will continue as his legacy, one of his many legacies.

great, great leader. Your loss is the greatest. He will be sorely missed by

I am so happy for President Hinckley and Sister Hinckley. What a great reunion
for them. I'm sad for us, but thankful we had the blessing of his guidance

was a very good man and will be missed by all of us in Utah, LDS or not. R.I.P

What a great man and servant of Jesus Christ! We will truly miss our Prophet,
Seer and Revelator. We love you President Hinckley and are so happy that you
are reunited with your beloved wife. Your work and example have inspired us to

It is an unexpected news. His life is a touchstone of righteousness, faith and
moral values that have led it to be well-known and respected throughout the
world.
The strengthen the family, the construction of temples throughout the world and missionary work are part of this valuable legacy that we leave. During the days when the Temple was dedicated in Guayaquil, I saw and feel that the spirit of peace that emanates from his being and have the same confidence in my heart that I am watching the Prophet of God on Earth. Loor our beloved Prophet!

Sorry to hear about the loss. I'm sure Mr. Hinkley was a good man. Would
Billy Graham, Oral Roberts, T.L. Osborne, or some of the other great Christian
Leaders who have LED MILLIONS to the saving power of the cross through Jesus
Christ receive as much fanfare?

The demise of President Hinckley brought tears to my eyes, but what joy it gives
to know that he is now in the arms of his beloved, in peace, surpassing the
aches and pains of being trapped in a mortal body; to live in eternal unity with
happiness and love. What a great reunion!!

This man has truly been an inspiration for all latter day saints and many other
people of the world. I had prayed that he could have remained longer with us
because of the man and the leader he was but we all knew his life was complete
and he had many on the other side waiting for him to come home. We love you
President Hinckley and thank you for what you have done in our behalf. The
world truly has been blessed by you and the work you did.

Sort of like printing thousands of copies of one Hallmark Card.
Hundreds of people are struggling to word their condolences "just right," and in fact, "it just doesn't matter."
Here's one you could duplicate 1,120 times...and it would serve the same purpose as 1,120 generic-sounding condolences.

Aw, shucks ... I'm going to miss your humorous quips. Thanks, President
Hinckley, for not retiring to an RV 32 years ago. To serve the Lord as you did
is an amazing accomplishmenet and example. You helped millions stay focussed to
the gospel and to enjoy a good laugh during general conference twice a year.

I solemnly testfiy that I personally know that this great and wonderful man was
truly a Prophet of God. He was one of the greatest men to ever draw breath upon
the face of this earth at any time in our history. The world has lost a giant. I

I can't believe he's gone! It's a huge loss for nto only the
chuch, but the world too. At least he gets to be with his wife again. It must
have been so lonely for him. I think the church as a whole benifitted so much
from his leadership and he will be dearly missed.

What a great loss. I already miss him so very much. This morning I have thought
much about him and have committed myself to working harder to do the things he
taught us. There is no doubt of his eternal reward. May we all live as he taught

I truly wish for Mr.Hinkley to rest in eternal peace with his wife, whom he
obviously loved so much. I also send my sincere condolences to all the faithful
LDS who adored him. I just wish I could have seen the look on his face when he
entered heaven and saw all the Lutherans, Catholics, Baptists, etc. Even a few
LDS that he wasn't expeting to greet him. And for the all those who will
blast me for my thoughts, I am NOT a disgruntled ex LDS...just a woman who
believes that everyone who lives a Christ led life will all be together forever
with God.

I am happy for him. He gets to be with his beloved Marjorie. Now we can look
forward to seeing him on the other side. Though I wish he could have tarried
yet a little longer here, I know He has much to do in continuing his tireless

He was the only prophet we have ever known. He was an inspiration to my family.
He is with his wife and now continues the work on the other side. He made this
world better and left us the tools to keep the work moving forward. We will not
fail. Until we meet again

He was a very Great man and will be greatly missed. His love and guidance will
be missed, he had such a way of expressing his love for the gospel and Jesus
Christ. He was truly a gifted man. I know that he and Sister Hinckley are
together in happiness. I pray that one day we will all be there together in
love and peace. What a very sad day for the church. My prayers go out to the
family, may you feel comfort at this time.

Thank you President Hinkley for your service. It was a great blessing in meeting
you and your lovely wife when touring the Christchurch, New Zealand Mission.
Your vision of Temple Expansion is truly amazing and has blessed many in getting
the work done. Your presence will be missed at conference, yet your spirit will
be felt every six months. "We Thank Thee O God For A Prophet".
