My familey and I are so sad,and thanks to our prophet Gorden B. Hinkley. we will
live by your teaching and your gospel, and thank you again President Hinkley!

We were blessed to have known President Hinckley as our Prophet. He leaves a
legacy of striving continuously to improve, to follow the example of Jesus
Christ. As we shed our tears, we know this dear man is reunited with his eternal
sweetheart Marjorie. May all who mourn, especially the Hinckley family, be
blessed with the comfort that comes from a testimony of the Truth.

I can honestly say I loved this man. He stood for everything good, honorable,
and righteous. His teachings in conference always spoke to my heart. He worked
tirelessly to serve the members of the church. I feel very blessed to have had
him serve as our prophet and leader. Thank you, Gordon B. Hinckley. May
God's great blessings be with you now.

He was truly a man of God! Our family loved to listen to your sweet voice as you
spoke. we love you and will miss you. How great must be his joy to see his
wonderful wife. He was and is a wonderful example to all.

While I grew up, the presidents of the church used to be quite distant. But since you appeared so frequently during satellite broadcasts, you became familiar to me. You were also the prophet, who issued my mission call to the England Manchester Mission, where you served as well. Now you are gone and I am left to mourne. Hope to see you again some time in a better world.

Our family adored President Hinckley, for we know that it was truly the spirit
of the Lord that sustained this wonderful caring yet mortal man...making him
capable of doing the wonderful things he did. While we are saddened at his
passing, we know he is rejoiceing in the arms of those "gone on ahead"
and I am sure he and his beloved Marjourie and dancing once again! Thanks for
being such a wonderul, caring, whitty and charming man. And for leaving us such
a legacy of love to follow after!

Our prayers go out to the Hinckley family. Our family,our Church have lost a
great leader,a good man, a Prophet of God! He has served with humility,
honor,and integrity. Surely there is great joy and rejoicing beyond the veil
this night as his spirit is reunited with his wonderful companion, Marjorie.

We were so sad & shocked to hear that our sweet prophet passed away. We
love him so very much and thank our Heavenly Father daily for him and for his
service and love for us. We will miss his sense of humor and the wave of his
cane. What a great reunion he must be having. Thank you for all the beautiful
temples. We will miss you. We will continue to follow your teachings and
example.

I received a phone call that interupted a very noisy family gathering in my
living room. It was amazing how the room fell silent at the news. He was an
amazing man full of warmth and strenght. I remember him as the first of our
prophets to ever be interviewed by the news media. He did much better answering
media trick questions than our presidential candidates do and this was a man is
his 90's!!!! This man was a testimony in itself of the church..

I'm glad for him. He worked SOOOOO hard while he was here. He deserves
what I hope is a nice break for him before Heavenly Father gives him is next
calling. I know that he is incredibly happy to be with his dear wife again. He
was blessed with a special love for the Saints. I had the privilege of looking
him in the eye, and his eyes seemed to say, "I love you." I'm
sure that he said that same thing to every Saint he could.

The LDS members in Arkansas will miss Pres. Hinckley. He was a man of wit and
wisdom, who reached out to the media and to people of all faiths and walks of
life. He has set a marvelous example for the next LDS President to follow.

President Hinkley you will be missed by members and non members alike. You were
truly one of Heavenly Fathers valiant leaders and you had such a sweet sense of
humor as well. I know you are with your sweet wife, Marjorie right now. You

I am so thankful to live while President Hinckley was a Prophet of the
Lord's Church. Many lives have been blessed through this great Prophet. I
will always remember him and the great things he did.

He gave us the Six Be's. Be Grateful, Be Smart, Be Clean, Be True, Be
Humble and Be Prayerful. All teachings that he lived by example through out his
life! He was called by GOD to lead us in these latter days! Not a product of
society or a cult religon but truly a man of GOD full of love, compasion,
honesty and integrity! Thank you Pres. Hinckley for making your life your
testimony and giving us a Prophetic witness that GOD lives and that Jesus is the

We will never be able to thank President Hinckley enough for all that he did for
the church and for us individually. He was truly led by Jesus Christ and gave
us direction and insights we could not have gained in any other way.

I am saddened by the loss of this great prophet of God. My heart goes out to his
family, may God and Christ's healing balm of love comfort them at this time
of mourning.
My heart also goes out in prayer for President Monson that he will be lifted up and sustained to rise to God and Christ's new calling to him.
President Hinckley will be missed, but it is with gladness to know that he is will his dear wife now, what a wonderful reunion that was.

I love President Hinckley! He has changed my life and motivated me to be the
best I can. I'm so grateful for him and for his life of service and

I saw President Hinckley only once when he stopped in Vancouver on his cross
Canada tour several years ago. I was privileged to be in the choir that day, and
had a clear view of him as I was at the same level as the stage. The Spirit bore
clear witness to me that day that I truly was seeing a Prophet of God.
He was in our area a couple of years ago to select a site for the new Vancouver BC temple. He had viewed a number of potential sites, but wasn't satisfied with any of them. They were driving near one of the chapels and he had the Stake President stop. He announced that this spot was the right place. The properties weren't even for sale, but that was only a minor detail. Construction is now underway at that site.
Imagine the surprise for the families decorating for a wedding, when they stopped at the chapel for a washroom break!
Imagine also the joyous reunion that has taken place with his beloved companion.
What an example of a Christ like life.

My heart is with his family. I loved him as a Prophet and as a great human
being. I will miss him very much. Few people have as great an impact on so many
lives as he has had during his time on earth. He is a great example of
humanitarianism and love for his fellow travelers. God bless him always.

I read President Hinckley's book (Standing for Something: Ten Neglected Virtues That Will Heal Our Hearts and Homes) and was inspired by the simple, direct and honest message. I am grateful that I can be beside my Mormon girlfriend's side in her time of need and found my eyes full of tears also for this kind, focused, productive man who did so much for LDS & his works benefitted more than just LDS folk.

He was an outstanding man - truly a prophet of God. I will miss his gentle and
sweet spirit - and his sense of humor. His teachings are a treasure to me,he
will always be in my heart.

He has been the prophet of my generation. I gained a testimony of the gospel
under his leadership of the Church. Pres. Hinckley you will be missed by

I keep imagining his excitement at seeing Sister Marjorie again and his
eagerness to meet Joseph Smith and the other great leaders of our dispensation.
I know I should not be sad, but nevertheless I am.

The shock came through to this part of the world on a Monday morning. We
couldn't believe what has been forwarded to us from numerous related
emails, but that was all because Pres. Hinckley was ever so vibrant, lively and
loving and it was strange to think of him as someone who has passed away. We
would sadly miss him, but at the same time we are sure that he is now in good
hands.

This was the only prophet I can remember since I am a youth. I absolutely adored
president Hinckley and I will miss his talks, spirit he brings everywhere with
him, his humor and much more. He has done so much for the church and I just
want to say I love him and I will miss him. Now he is with his wife and family
that has passed on before. President Hinckley, I will miss you and thanks for
all you have done for me and my family. You are an amazing man!

I love the sound of his voice, his unique inflection, I always knew he loved us.
I would like to have him forever, but we knew he would leave soon. He is no
longer the last leaf on the tree, and it is now still and calm. I would have
liked to be present at his home coming, what a grand event.

He has been always special to me. He was a inspiration to us all. He set great
and wonderful examples for rest of my family. when I found out that he passed
away, and I told my children and I cried right away. It helps them to understand
how important our prophet was to me. We knelt together to pray for his family to
be comforted tonight. Our love goes out to his families and close friends. He
passed away peacefully and went off to be with his wife. We will always remember
him and keep him in our hearts.. We love you, President Hinckley..

So many accomplishments, highly esteemed in the eyes of men.... But for all he
did, he never led a soul to Christ. He led them to a Church. A man made, human
controlled and operated organization. He never possessed real Bible Salvation.
And like most he'll be preached into heaven by other men. mean to say? no,
just the plain truth.
