We have lost a tremendous man! He has been an amazing example for me and my
family and will be truly missed. I know he is having a sweet reunion with his
true love and the rest of his family. Our thoughts, prayers and love are with
his family.

The world was blessed to have President Hinckley's love, leadership, and
prayers. His teachings of tolerance and peace was a great confort to all. Our
family prayers will be for his family and their comfort and also to thank our
Father in Heaven for giving us such a strong leader. We will miss President
Hinckley deeply.

What a wonderful man that will be missed. I often felt he was a prophet for the
women of the church. I felt his love and compassion and enjoyed listening to his
addresses. He will be missed, but I am glad he is getting a long deserved break.

President Hinckley's kindness and humanity were an example for people of
all faiths. He was an inspired leader whose life of service prepared him for his
final calling. His vision for building the kingdom and his optimism in uncertain
times were a profoundly calming influence and he was an inspiration to me and
countless others.

Oh how we will miss that great and loving leader. I know he was God's
prophet, but as my son said, I am sure he is happy to be reunited with his

President Hinckley was an amazing man. I'm saddened by his death but we
will continue to grow as a church and as a people and he will live forever in
our hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Be comforted that he is
now with his beloved wife and they are waiting for all of us to be there with
them. "Go forward with faith and Stand a little taller" are his
immortal words of counsel.

I am profoundly moved to hear this news. Gordon B. Hinckley was one of the
greatest public figures in my life, and had a deep impact on me as I grew up in
the church. His teachings and example always encouraged me to do my very best
and helped me to be optimistic in the face of difficulties. His words and
leadership during the 9/11 tragedy had a profound impact on me. I am sad to
hear of the passing of this wonderful man of God, but at the same time it gives
me great joy to know that he can finally be reunited with his wife, whom he
missed so much during the last years of his life. Godspeed, brother.

What a wonderful man who lived such an exemplary life. How great it must be to
once again be reunited with his cherished wife. He will always be remembered for

We will miss our beloved Prophet. We are happy because we have followed his
counsel and we know He was a Prophet of God. Though we are deeply saddened, we
are happy that he is back with his beloved wife and with our Heavenly Father and

President Hinckley is now being embraced by Joseph, Brigham, his family and his loved ones. His truly was a life of service. He did all he was called to this earth to do. What a Christlike example.

Godspeed to one of the great leaders of the modern era. When he assumed the
presidency at an already advanced age, I assumed his would be a caretaker
presidency. I am very grateful to have been wrong. He was as warm as he was
insightful and had a wonderful sense of humor. He taught many great lessons,
but perhaps the one I remember most was one taught about him by Sister Hinckley.
They came to Maine to speak to the NH and Maine stakes and she related how much
he had grown since assuming the presidency. I have always taken comfort in the
fact that a man with his long resume and already significant spiritual stature
could and would learn and change. My solaces in this are twofold. First, that
we had him at all. Second, that he is back with his beloved Marjorie. My
condolences to his family. Thank you all for loaning him to us these many
years. May God bless you all.
