I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but all them also that love his appearing. (2 Tim. 4:7-8)

This dear man will be greatly missed by all of us that came to know him and love him as he led our church to great heights over the past 12 years.

President Hinckley leaves behind a legacy of unprecedented growth and temple building that has provided a foundation for our future as a church and people. Although we feel sorrow for our great loss, we must also be willing to rejoice in knowing that President and Sister Hinckley are now reunited after faithfully keeping their second estate, and will most likely be given important responsibilites to further the work of God where they dwell in the spirit world at this time.

I personally feel like I've lost a great friend, and I will miss his humor, his demeanor, and his great love that he demonstrated during his many talks he delivered to us in general conference.

I will always remember his humor and great personality. I remember every time he spoke in conference, chills would run through my entire body. His words were simple, loving, and pure. The world has lost something great this evening, and I hope the world will remember him as one of the greatest men in the 21st Century.

He was a great man. I am not LDS and do believe he was a prophet of god but I do know he was a great leader and guided the LDS church the best he could. He will be missed.

President Hinckley is a name frequently spoken of in the prayers of our children. His dedication to the gospel and Heavenly Father's work as our Prophet has been a strength to our family and a legacy to the world. May his reunion with his companion be sweet and his family be blessed and comforted at this time.
Chris R | 9:55 p.m. Jan. 27, 2008
What a wonderful man Prsident Hinckley was. He was just so cute, you couldn't help but love him. And when he spoke, you couldn't help but know that he was a Prophet of God. He was the Prophet for my children and they are very sad. But we are so appreciative of all he did for the Church and so delighted he is finally with his sweetheart, Marjorie! We will miss you President Hinckley!

Pres. Hinkley we will miss you dearly. You will never know the impact that you have made. My life has changed for the better and it was because of your devotion to the church and the great calling that you had. I will always hold you close, you were the first prophet that I have ever known. Listening to you speak during womens conference in 2000 was a life altering moment and I joined the church shortly after. We will miss you dear Prophet. Until we meet again.

President Hinckley, the most eloquent and innovative leader I've ever known in my lifetime. I love him, I love his beautiful words of testimony and admontion. I love and appreciate his powerful declaration of Joseph Smith, Jesus Christ, Our Heavenly Father, and the Holy Ghost. I love his positive attitude. I thank him for all he has done for The Lord's true church in moving it forward. I thank him for his work in increasing Temples on the earth and for his gift of inspiring Latter-Day Saints all over the world to live better lives, to stand a little taller, be a little kinder, strive a little more to be better Saints.
My love and prayers go out to his family at this time as they struggle with their brief earthly parting with their beloved dad, etc. What a wonderful reunion he is having with his sweetheart, parents, siblings, family, associates, and especially his dearest friend, our precious Saviour. I Thank Heavenly Father for calling him as our 15th Prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and giving us 97 amazing, inspiring, years with President Gordon B. Hinckley.

President Hickley was a great man who served Heavenly Father and carried out His plan. He was very instrumental in all the things the church has today and he will be truly missed. He is the only prophet that I have known, having been baptized as a convert in 1996. I am saddened deeply by his passing, but rejoice in the homecoming that he is now experiencing and the reunion he is having with his beloved wife, Marjorie. I am comforted that I will see him again. I am very excited for the new presidency to follow and anxious for the things that Heavenly Father has in store for us.

Although President will surely be missed, we can not do anything but rejoice for him and his dear companion of so many years, that they are now reunited and being able to carry on their eternal love that kept them such a wonderful example of how a couple should love and treat each other. Thank you for providing us with that example. The angels are singing on your behalf.
