His Myspace page has a question: how will you die? (or something to that effect) and his response is "Happy". I'm sure that's what he was, as he was doing what he loved best. R.I.P.

Billy was such a sweet kind hearted guy for someone with such fierce passion. He inspired the hell out of me. I display this poster of him flying through the air above my cutting table where I make hats. In it he is sailing in the midst of some narly cliffs. I keep it there because every time I look at it -- it reminds me to follow my dream, to keep making hats because that is my calling. Billy's calling, however unusual, powerfully affected people on a daily basis -He inspired people to GO FOR IT! I mean not a whole lot of people are called upon to use their athletisism and courage in that particular way, but what he did allowed us to have a tiny taste of what it feels like to do the impossible. Thank you Billy for reminding me to strive for the impossible EVERY DAY!

Love Aunty Paisley
shred it!!!!

i met billy when i was eighteen, my first year ski bummin, at bridger bowl, he showed me the ridge and what skiing was all about, having fun. I have followed billy the last year, on the internet mainly, he was getting after it, living life to the fullist, anyone who wants to write a comment about him saying he was doing it for fame or glory should try being a ski bum cause its not about the fame or glory its about living life to the fullist, and having as much fun as those people in a 9-5 job have in a year, we have it in a day. day after day. rest in peace billy, we will miss you. you will inspire us day in and day out.

p.s. you 9-5ers just dont understand

No. Utah sees a major earthquake every 350 years. Last one? 350 years ago.
